@TDChrisG Just so inexcusable for VGK. They completely fell asleep, it makes no sense. They used to be good at shutting down momentum against them and turning it back. They collapsed in 39 seconds. So maddening… game 2 and this game… just can’t hang onto leads

@SinBinVegas Not the first period I was hoping to see… VGK’s offense almost nonexistent. Don’t think they cycled the puck once in their o-zone the entire period. That needs to change fast! Plus the neutral zone for the Canes is too wide open, they’re cruising through unimpeded

@OverDrive1050 They will never admit it but the NHL fucked up on this one. GI and the 5% chance to overturn a “no goal” call on the ice has gone way wayyyy too far. wtf is the point of replays when Toronto just agrees with this on life refs 24/7? Honestly? The puck was loose, it was a good goal

@SinBinVegas Eichel needs to be better. I don’t think it’s been talked about enough. Obviously Stall is elite defensively against him but VGK need Eichel to break through tomorrow. He’s been stripped of the puck so many times. Also, I think he’s passed on a lot of grade A shot opportunities

@TonyDasco @Rebel_Net Dude… that’s not what the ref said… he said it was goaltender inference. If the ref said the play was dead because the whistle was meant to be blown then… so be it… but he didn’t. He said GI… which changes the threshold drastically.

@TDChrisG The only purpose replays have with goaltender inference calls”no goal” on the ice calls is torment the fans watching the game… because they can see how dead wrong the refs are a LOT of the time. The NHL process for goaltender inference is a fucking disaster, it’s ridiculous
