Ron Unz publishes a 10,700 word essay on Nick Fuentes — summary & some thoughts:

- Unz is suspicious of Nick for not buying into the Charlie Kirk-Israel theory like Candace Owens & Max Blumenthal did.

- He took a particularly strong issue with Nick’s December interview with Richard Spencer—where Nick describes his pivot away from supporting Russia & increasing support for Europe.

- Unz suggests that Nick must be uneducated because Gen Z doesn’t read & he dropped out of college—unlike Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia U who holds “better views on policy” (he also worked in Russia & is always on Russian state media lol).

- Because of Nick’s support for American operations in Venezuela, Unz calls him indistinguishable from Stephen Miller.

- Unz goes on to feature tweets from Russia Today & RTSG_Main (communist acct) that are critical of Fuentes.

- Unz then promotes an Andrew Anglin article criticizing him as well.

- Unz goes on to praise Tucker Carlson for rising in the alt-media ecosystem while the mainstream media called him “Russian stooge”. Unz commends Tucker’s visit with Putin, exposing Obama as gay, his criticism of the Ukraine war, criticism of Israel, his interview with Cenk Uyghur, his WW2 revisionism in which “Churchill was the real enemy”. He concludes Tucker is a “true free agent“, a real enemy of the system.

- Unz reminds us that a gold company was interested in sponsoring Fuentes & implies it is very suspicious. (Nevermind the fact that Tucker is way richer & the gold sponsorship for Fuentes fell through anyway.)

- On the topic of the Epstein Files, Unz charitably claims Nick’s episodes debunking the hysteria were quite compelling…until he watched Tucker & Ian Carroll’s Epstein collab, where they discover Epstein mentions pizza & grape soda.

- Ron Unz favorably characterizes Ian Carroll as “clearly someone who had spent a good deal of time carefully investigating the contents of the Epstein Files” (For all of Unz’s issue with Nick not graduating university—Ian Carroll didn’t even finish high school. He was too busy taking long trips Guatemala for some reason lol..)
