@derekobrienmp Some nostalgia for u dear quizmaster on 15th August. 🤣PM will deliver his 13th speech today and your TMCHHI party has lost power and respect both in Bengal. Have u some shame left ??
MAMATA BANERJEE : "I was born during a time of struggle.
BJP came to power by rigging votes.
Chief Minister too used to be a TMC member one day.
I used to go to your constituency again and again.
Don't break TMC"
Today, on the special occasion of Pochishe Boishakh, we pay our heartfelt tributes to Gurudev Tagore.
Gurudev Tagore was a writer, thinker and poet of extraordinary brilliance. He made a mark as an exceptional philosopher, educationist, artist and a timeless voice of India’s civilisational soul. He gave expression to the deepest emotions of humanity and the noblest ideals of our culture. He enriched our society with new thought, creative energy and cultural confidence.
We remember him with deep reverence and gratitude. May his thoughts continue to illuminate minds and guide us in our endeavours.
This asshole abandoned his party men, abandoned the Hindus of his constituency and Bengal in 2021. While women were being disrobed and men were being murdered, he ran away like the two bit coward he is. He joined TMC for protection - the party which was massacring his own brethren.
Today, this absolute low life is preaching.
How does he look himself in the mirror
A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during #OperationSindoor. They gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. The entire nation salutes our forces for their valour.
Operation Sindoor reflected India’s firm response against terrorism and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security. It also highlighted the professionalism, preparedness and coordinated strength of our armed forces. At the same time, it showcased the growing jointness among our forces and underlined the strength that India’s quest for self-reliance in the defence sector has brought to our national security.
Today, a year later, we remain as steadfast as ever in our resolve to defeat terrorism and destroy its enabling ecosystem.
The journalist who you are quoting is husband of your party's MP. So we can say how neutral he will be..A journalist with immense repute 😀 my foot. BTW hope ur car is safe now Mr coward.
Congratulations to @BJP4India@BJP4Bengal for their huge win in WB•It's people's verdict & I wish them all the best•However, do listen to what @sardesairajdeep , a Journo with immense repute, has to say about the mysterious way #SIR was conducted by @ECISVEEP , both in Bengal & Bihar•I know I will be trolled massively, but a fact is a fact is a fact & as he has said, one must reiterate that Hon'ble Supreme Court failed 'Supremely' in restoring the democratic rights of the 27 lac voters who were denied their voting rights for mysterious reasons• I repeat, I hv no intention or am not making up any excuse for @AITCofficial losing but exercising legitimate Fact-Checks in a democracy is a must & all those prominent figures who had continuously raised many serious concerns about the voting process in India. @derekobrienmp@sagarikaghose@KapilSibal@Pawankhera@RahulGandhi@supriya_sule@ArvindKejriwal
Prosenjit Chatterjee (@prosenjitbumba) calls Rudranil Ghosh (@ActorRudranil)
Actor and BJP candidate Rudranil Ghosh received a congratulatory call from Tollywood veteran Prosenjit Chatterjee on Monday night, hours after he secured the Howrah Shibpur Assembly seat.
Ghosh defeated Trinamool Congress candidate Rana Chatterjee by 16,058 votes. The victory, he said, marked more than a personal milestone.
In an interview, Ghosh alleged that dissent within the Bengali film industry had been systematically suppressed since 2021. He described a culture where technicians, directors and actors who opposed the ruling party’s directives risked boycotts and loss of work.
“When I protested what I saw as arbitrary diktats, technicians were made to march wearing black bands with slogans to boycott me,” Ghosh said. “Many colleagues could not stand by me then. They feared being labelled unsuitable and losing their livelihoods.”
Ghosh argued that alignment with the Trinamool Congress had become a prerequisite for access to committees, festivals and commercial opportunities in Tollywood. “Either you joined their rallies and stayed silent on statewide injustices, or you were sidelined,” he said. “I believe that process ends now.”
Ghosh added that Chatterjee was not alone in calling. Directors Srijit Mukherji, Kaushik Ganguly and Shiboprosad Mukherjee also phoned on Monday night. “We discussed the same concerns. We plan to meet. The industry’s long period of distress has affected many people, not just me,” he said.
