It’s been more than 36 hours. Junior doctors are still on the streets seeking justice for their sister joined by people from all walks of life. Be it a school going kid,a senior citizen,a beggar or a specially abled individual.
There's an infinite supply of food at the protest site; nobody knows where or who is supplying the food, but it just keeps on coming. Saltlake Sector V,Kolkata isn't even a residential area, so even in the middle of the night people have travelled at least 2-3km from neighbouring New Town and Salt Lake to help us. We've had to beg people to stop donating us food, lest it goes to waste. The excess has been donated to the needy. People are still supplying food, water, sanitary napkins, even handfans; local institutions are opening their doors for us to use their toilets; even children are here.
Archeological survey of India has donated biotoilets.
This is what we call "উৎসব"(festival),an unprecedented one.

VIDEO | "They (Police) are saying that these girls died by suicide and hung themselves, but what about wounds on their body? They did not allow us to see the body. We saw the body only this morning. Police is asking us to cremate her as soon as possible. We are not demanding anything, we just want to know the truth," says father of one of the deceased.

The bodies of two girls, aged 15 and 18, were found hanging from a tree outside a village under the Kayamganj police station in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad on Tuesday. Family members allege that the girls were killed and later hanged.

This is how fake narratives are created by manipulating incidents:
Propaganda: An auto driver in Nagpur molested two teenage girls and threatened to do the same sort of things with them which happened in #KolkataDoctorDeathCase
Truth: The girls were talking loudly about a climate change seminar while sitting in the auto which annoyed the driver and he asked them to not speak so much and so loud in the auto sitting behind him. That led to a heated argument and the girls asked him to stop the auto. Then few SIMPS joined the argument and assaulted the Auto Driver. At Police Station the Police made the Auto Driver apologise to the girls and the matter got settled amicably.
PS: No action was taken by the @NagpurPolice against the girl or these SIMPS who publicly assaulted, abused and humiliated the Auto Driver. After all he is a Man and in this country Law and Society is there just to protect a Woman.
