@Allstate cost me $193 in apt fees and wont respond.
Agent Matt made multiple errors with my renters' insurance, then created a new policy for May 25 instead of fixing the active Nov 24 policy. Now they’re silent.
@bbb_us@FLOIR_comm This needs addressing.

@Allstate cost me $193.80 because their agent didn’t update my existing renters' insurance policy —
He created a new one with the wrong start date, then ghosted me for months.
My apartment fined me. @bbb_us and Florida’s DOI are now involved. Fix this.

This isn’t a simple mistake — it’s negligence, miscommunication, and costly silence from @Allstate.
You created the wrong policy. You ignored follow-ups.
You can fix this. So do it.
#AllstateFail#DoBetter#InsuranceAccountability
Our apartment charged us $193.80 in late compliance fees because @Allstate couldn’t properly update our renters policy.
We’ve filed complaints with @bbb_us and the Florida Dept. of Insurance. Still no accountability.
They failed to:
Add our apartment address
Add the interested party
Add me (Avry) to the policy
Then they blamed us — after their own agent failed to follow through, ignored our emails, and gave no confirmation.
The agent (Matt) said a phone call was required to make changes. That call never happened.
Then months later, the changes were done via email anyway — proving the phone call was never necessary. @Allstate

We requested changes 5 days after our policy began on Nov 3, 2024.
Instead of updating that policy, @Allstate's agent created a brand new one starting in May 2025 — a date we never asked for.
