What Israel is doing in Palestine, Japan already did.

The Japanese are not the original inhabitants of the cluster of islands known as Japan today.

The primary indigenous people of this particular archipelago are the Ainu people, who called it Ainu Moshiri (Land of the Ainu), dating back at least 10 000 years ago. Over the years, they were pushed out and marginalised by the ancestors of the modern Japanese.

The Ainu suffered centuries of displacement, forced assimilation, and discrimination, particularly in the late 1800s. They were forced off their lands, banned from traditional hunting/fishing, and renamed as “former aborigines” under the 1899 protection act, which aimed to eradicate their culture.

The Ainu were only recognised as an indigenous people in 2008, and a law for the promotion of Ainu culture was passed in 2019; however, historical injustices persist.

The Ainu still cannot fish their salmon, and dams are still being built that submerge sacred sites. There’s no self-determination, no collective rights and no reparations. It’s just a cultural performance.

The Zionists believe If the Japanese could do it, why shouldn’t they?

@notgleams Genuine question, do you know about the Ainu or Ryukyuan people of Japan? If not you should Google them. They're "more united" because they're a monoethnic country. A monoethnic country achieved via colonization. They implemented assimilation policies to prevent a melting pot.
