Baron didn’t invent the fact that people had questions. The questions came first because people were looking at the evidence and finding parts of the story difficult to reconcile. If you believe Baron has lied, harassed someone, or committed libel, then point to the specific claim and show why it’s false. Those are serious accusations, and they should be backed up.

I also find it troubling to tell someone they need to “repent” while addressing them with hostility and making accusations that haven’t been demonstrated. Invoking Christianity doesn’t make an accusation more credible, and it certainly doesn’t exempt any of us from examining our own tone and behavior.

Viva Frei has lost all credibility with me, but I don’t think he’s been the most disappointing. That would have to be some of the people I actually know in real life. There’s something that feels eerily similar to how isolating things became during cov💉d. Watching people you thought you knew become almost unrecognizable, losing the ability to reason and think logically, has been one of the hardest parts.

Corruption and abuses of power are not confined by borders. Social media is flooded with AI-generated propaganda, paid influence campaigns, state-backed influence operations, and people financially rewarded for keeping us angry at one another.

Whether every actor shares the same goal almost doesn’t even matter when the outcome is the same. Division creates distrust. Distrust isolates people from one another. Isolation makes collective action harder, and that ultimately benefits entrenched political and economic power. The cycle feeds itself: the less we trust one another, our neighbors, our institutions, or even our own ability to know what is true, the easier we are to manipulate and the harder it becomes to challenge those already holding power.

Start recognizing the pattern before allowing people you won't ever meet, operating behind accounts you can't verify, to convince you that your neighbors, other countries, other races, or people with different political beliefs are your enemies.†

For the people claiming MLK had no exit wound and using that to argue that Charlie Kirk’s neck could somehow stop a .30-06 round, the record does not say what you think it says.

There was an exit wound from the lower face, followed by re-entry into the neck. Stop speaking so confidently on matters you clearly haven’t looked into.

According to the public medical summary from the National Archives / House Select Committee on Assassinations, the bullet:
• entered the right side of Dr. King’s face
• fractured his jaw
• exited the lower part of the face
• reentered the body in the neck area
• severed major vessels/spinal structures
• came to rest in the left side of his back

Still a fan, Viva, but I’m not buying this one. In isolation, maybe I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. But when what we’re seeing keeps clashing with what we’re being told, I don’t think people are wrong to question it.

I truly hope there’s nothing influencing your take here, because many people still value your voice.

I’ve skipped plenty of Shawn Ryan episodes when the guest didn’t interest me or I disagreed with them. That used to be called common sense. Now it feels like some people would rather pressure him into only interviewing approved guests, while loudly complaining about episodes they didn’t even watch.
