For the last year, I’ve disappeared down a rabbit hole that has completely changed how I understand America.
Like many of you, I watched strange alliances form seemingly overnight. Movements on the right and the left, people who otherwise despise one another, began arriving at many of the same conclusions.
Christians turned on Christians. Institutions I had trusted seemed to change almost overnight. Israel became the flashpoint for almost everything.
None of it made sense.
Until one day, I realized I was asking the wrong question.
This isn’t about Israel. The deeper battle is over something most Americans may have forgotten.
What is America?
That question consumed me. It led me through Scripture, covenant theology, the Protestant Reformation, the American founding, political philosophy, and history.
I came to see the American founding as resting on two covenants.
The first is the Declaration of Independence. It is our covenant of promise. It declares that our rights are not gifts from kings, legislatures, courts, or majorities. They come from our Creator. They exist before government exists. Government does not create them. It recognizes them.
The second is the Constitution. It is our covenant of law. It establishes the limits of civil government, restrains power, and creates a political order capable of protecting liberty without becoming the source of liberty.
Together, they answer one of the oldest questions in history.
Who sits on the throne?
Every civilization answers that question.
Some place an emperor there.
Some place a party there.
Some place a church there.
Some place the state there.
Some place the common good there.
America did something different.
America placed God above the throne.
That is why no court, no majority, and no church possesses ultimate authority over the human conscience.
Government has real authority, but it is delegated authority. It is not ultimate authority.
The state governs laws.
The state governs courts.
The state governs taxes.
But the human soul belongs to God.
I have become convinced that this is America’s greatest inheritance. It is also the inheritance many of us have forgotten. We don’t need to be more Christian we already are one.
If we do not understand what made America different, how can we possibly defend it?
That is why I wrote The Covenant Versus the Common Good: The Battle for the Soul of America.
This is not another book about the culture war. It is an attempt to uncover the foundation beneath it.
It argues that the battle over Israel is not the disease but the symptom. It examines why Israel has so often become the focal point of attacks throughout history while asking what lies beneath those attacks. It explores why movements on both the American right and the American left, despite profoundly disagreeing with one another, are increasingly converging on the same destination.
Some pursue that destination intentionally.
Others pursue it with the very best of intentions.
But history teaches the same lesson over and over again. Whenever man occupies the place that belongs to God, freedom gives way to power. Not necessarily because men are evil, but because every one of us falls short of the glory of God.
This book is my attempt to document that pattern carefully, honestly, and with evidence rather than speculation. More than anything, it is an attempt to recover an inheritance that I believe is worth preserving for our children and grandchildren.
The Covenant Versus the Common Good: The Battle for the Soul of America will be released on December 4, 2026.
Between now and then, I’ll be sharing research, draft chapters, and the historical journey that led me here to those who have subscribed.
Because I have become convinced of one thing.
If we don’t understand what we’re fighting to protect, we will lose it. Not because our opponents were stronger, but because we forgot what made it worth defending in the first place.
You know what wrecked me when I was converting to Christianity?
Jihad is literally the gospel in reverse. Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it.
The gospel says Christ shed His blood for YOU.
Jihad says you shed your blood for ALLAH.
Jesus lays down His life to save His enemies. Jihad calls you to take the lives of enemies in pursuit of God's favor.
Christianity says the Shepherd dies so the sheep can live. Jihad says the sheep die hoping the Shepherd accepts them.
They are mirrors. One is grace, the other is striving.
One says, "It is finished." The other says, "Do more."
Jesus never asked me to earn God's love with my blood, he proved God's love by shedding His own.
That's why the cross changed everything for me. Jesus didn't come to tell us how to die for God.
He came to die for us so we could truly live. PRAISE GOD! I AM FREE! Now, we need to make all the Muslims Christian.
Here’s why people in both parties don’t want to use or lose the filibuster: control.
Hiding behind the 60 vote threshold and the cloture rule makes it easier to control the chamber, control debate, and control the schedule. That way there are no surprises and everyone gets to leave town after lunch on Thursday without fail.
Open debate, open amendments, and majority threshold make things less predictable. And that makes comfortable people uncomfortable.
If we want to secure our elections and pass the rest of the America First agenda, we’re going to need to shake some things up.
I spoke to McConnell for about 20 minutes just now.
He said we should pass the Save America Act to secure our elections, deport 20 million foreign invaders and make arrests of deep state traitors. Then he said, we have to stop carrying water for the Chinese Communist Party. He apologized that the NRSC hasn't been more supportive of MAGA candidates.
There is a powerful lesson we can learn from the story of Jesus Christ feeding five thousand men with five loaves of bread and two fish.
Many of us spend our days worrying about money, bills, business opportunities, and our future. We look at what is in our hands and immediately conclude, "It is not enough."
But that is not the mathematics of the Kingdom of God.
The mathematics of Jesus is different from the mathematics of this world.
When thousands of people gathered to hear Jesus teach, the disciples looked at the crowd and saw a problem.
They counted the people.
They counted the little food.
Then they concluded that it was impossible.
Their solution was simple:
"Send the people away."
They were looking at scarcity.
Jesus was looking at the Father.
There were only five loaves and two fish, yet Jesus did something that seemed unreasonable.
He didn't complain.
He didn't panic.
He didn't calculate the shortage.
He didn't ask, "How will this ever be enough?"
Instead, He took what was available, lifted it to heaven, and gave thanks.
That is the secret many believers have forgotten.
Thanksgiving is not something you do after the miracle.
Thanksgiving is often what comes before the miracle.
When Jesus thanked God for the little that was available, heaven multiplied what earth called insufficient.
Five loaves became enough for thousands.
Two fish became more than enough.
Everyone ate until they were satisfied, and there were baskets full of leftovers.
God specializes in multiplying what is surrendered to Him with thanksgiving.
So why are you worrying?
You keep saying,
"I only have this amount of money."
Who told you it isn't enough for God to bless?
You keep saying,
"I only have one business idea."
Who told you that one idea cannot change your family forever?
You keep saying,
"I have qualifications but no connections."
Who told you God needs connections to open doors?
You keep saying,
"I have applied for many jobs, but no one has called me."
Who told you your breakthrough depends only on human approval?
Take that application letter and thank God.
Take that CV and thank God.
Take that business proposal and thank God.
Take the little money remaining in your account and thank God.
Take the small beginning that everyone despises and thank God.
Do not focus on what is missing.
Focus on the God who multiplies.
The disciples saw lack.
Jesus saw possibility.
The disciples calculated with human logic.
Jesus operated by Kingdom principles.
Many miracles are delayed because we spend more time complaining than thanking God.
Complaining magnifies the problem.
Thanksgiving magnifies God.
Fear says, "It will never be enough."
Faith says, "God is able."
Anxiety says, "What if I run out?"
Thanksgiving says, "My Father is my Provider."
Your miracle may already be in your hands, but you keep despising it because it looks too small.
Never underestimate what God can do with what you already have.
The little in God's hands is always more than enough.
Today, choose thanksgiving over worry.
Choose faith over fear.
Choose praise over complaints.
Lift up what you have before God, thank Him sincerely, and trust Him completely.
The God who multiplied five loaves and two fish has not changed.
If He did it then, He is still able to do it today.
May God multiply every resource, every opportunity, every gift, every business idea, every job application, and every seed in your hands as you trust Him and give thanks.
In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
🚨 Here is the exact sequence of what happened in Rapid City in 12 hours..
June 25.. Scott Presler shows up to a South Dakota GOP event with a ticket in hand..
Thune's team had already printed a poster with his face on it to make sure he couldn't get in..
Sergeant at Arms Matt Bruner met him at the door.. said "get the hell outta here"..
Presler pulled out his phone.. stayed calm.. recorded everything.. posted it..
and here's what nobody wants to say out loud..
within 12 hours.. Bruner was fired..
within 12 hours.. Chairman Jim Eschenbaum issued a personal video apology..
within 12 hours.. Mike Lee was on record saying "America needs more Scott Preslers"..
within 12 hours.. the SAVE America Act had more national attention than six months of lobbying produced..
this is the same playbook Presler has run for a decade.. show up.. document the denial.. let the exposure do the work..
he registered 50,000+ new Republican voters in Pennsylvania alone.. flipped Bucks County.. Beaver County.. Luzerne County.. delivered 19 electoral votes to Trump..
and the party that needed all of that printed a poster to keep him out of a room..
the system worked for Presler today.. it just didn't work the way they planned.
I'll share more details shortly so turn on notifications, this is VERY important.
The Republican Senate just performed its own public execution in a hotel ballroom in Rapid City and then had the audacity to act surprised when the body twitched.
They did not simply deny Scott Presler entry to their little donor dinner at the South Dakota state convention.
They revealed the clinical truth of what they have become: a cartel of status-anxious narcissists so pathologically terrified of autonomous effectiveness on their own side that they will slam the door on the single most productive grassroots operative this movement has fielded in a generation rather than risk him demanding they actually do the job they were sent to Washington to perform.
This was not an administrative fuck-up.
This was a calculated act of social dominance…a textbook display of malignant group pathology in which the only acceptable response to loyalty that becomes demanding is erasure and humiliation.
The message they broadcast was not subtle.
It was neurological.
It was delivered straight into the attachment systems of every volunteer, every small-dollar donor, every door-knocker who still believed the Republican Party existed to fight rather than to manage.
Shut the fuck up.
Know your place.
We do not work for you.
We work for the donor calendar, the cocktail circuit, the administrative-state equilibrium that keeps our sinecures intact.
Your effort, your results, your inconvenient insistence on proof-of-citizenship and borders that actually function are now classified as threats to our comfort.
The base is no longer an asset to be mobilized. It is a liability to be contained.
This is betrayal trauma made visible and it carries a clinical cost these cowards have not begun to calculate.
Trust does not erode under these conditions.
It calcifies into something colder, more precise, more lethal.
The high-agency citizens who built the turnout machines are not becoming more moderate.
They are becoming more diagnostic. They are running new simulations in which the men in bespoke suits are no longer allies who occasionally disappoint.
They are obstacles that must be removed or bypassed if anything resembling the republic is to survive.
History has already written the next chapter for men who mistake their insulation for invulnerability.
The Roman optimates told the populares to sit down and accept their station.
The French aristocracy responded to the cahiers de doléances with procedural contempt and donor-class disdain.
The British Tories spent a generation triangulating while assuring their base that the institutions still functioned.
Every single time the result was the same: the base did not become more compliant.
It became more accurate in its assessment of who actually serves whom.
The Senate Republicans who participated in or permitted this public degradation of Scott Presler have just accelerated that process by years.
They have handed the base fresh data and fresh rage wired directly into the nervous system.
They will not sleep cleanly again.
Every future closed-door meeting, every donor dinner, every primary challenge will carry the ghost of that slammed door in Rapid City.
The calculation has changed.
The men who thought they could silence the most effective soldier on their own side without consequence have just taught the entire base a lesson in institutional betrayal that no amount of campaign rhetoric can unteach.
The full forensic dissection of this pathology…the neurological rewiring, the historical pattern, the terminal arrogance of a leadership class that fears its own base more than it fears the enemy…is now live.
Read it. Let it cut.
The reckoning they triggered is no longer theoretical.
It is already counting.

🚨Resolution to Censure Senate Majority Leader Thune🚨
👉While it was approved by the Resolutions Committee, it still needs to be voted on by the South Dakota Republican Party👈
“WHEREAS an overwhelming majority of citizens from not just South Dakota, but the entire United States of America, support the passage of the SAVE America Act;
WHEREAS US Senate Majority Leader John Thune continues his refusal to act in accordance with the will of American Citizens through his failure to lead
the passage of the SAVE America Act;
WHEREAS US Senate Majority Leader John Thune has wantonly and repeatedly acted as a roadblock to President Donald Trump and the American First
Agenda, squandering the opportunity presented by Republican control of the US House, US Senate, and the Presidency, where failure to pass the SAVE
America Act is the most glaring and inexcusable example;
THEREFORE, let it be resolved that the South Dakota Republican Party officially Censures South Dakota Senator and US Senate Majority Leader John
Randolph Thune until such time as the SAVE America Act is passed by the US Senate and officially signed into law by President Donald J. Trump.”
Since our movement is trending right now, let me introduce myself:
My name is Scott Presler.
I’m an Eagle Scout & son of a retired Navy Captain.
I moved to Pennsylvania in 2024 & launched an organization for the sole purpose of helping to re-elect President Trump.
I’ve spent the last decade of my life registering tens of thousands of voters, electing Republicans to all levels of office, & helping to build up Republican structures from the county & state levels.
I’ve traveled to over 40 states to grow the Republican Party.
For the last 6 months, I’ve met with members of Congress to pass the SAVE America Act — which would require photo voter ID & proof of citizenship to vote.
What I’m advocating for has overwhelming support from the American people.
Yet I was not allowed entry to a dinner last night in Rapid City, South Dakota, because Senate Majority Leader Thune was present.
When they go after me, they are really coming for you.
I will not be bullied, pressured, intimidated & I won’t stop pushing for the country-saving SAVE America Act.
Thank you for having my back — peacefully.
I'm a cardiologist. A woman loses her husband. Two days later she's on my cath lab table — chest pain, EKG changes, enzymes elevated. Everything says heart attack.
I thread the catheter. Her arteries are pristine.
Her heart didn't clog. It shattered. From grief.
Takotsubo — broken heart syndrome. Stress hormones stun the ventricle so severely it balloons and stops pumping. 90% of cases are women. Your heart can literally break. Not a metaphor. Physiology.
But this is just one blind spot in a system built for men's hearts.
Women get microvascular disease — plaque in vessels too small for angiograms to see. Heart attacks with "clean" arteries.
Women get SCAD — leading cause of heart attack under 50. Most doctors have never diagnosed one.
Women present with fatigue, jaw pain, nausea, back pain. Medicine called these "atypical" for decades. They're not atypical. They're female-typical.
Half of humanity is not a variant.
Heart disease kills more women than every cancer combined. Fewer than half know.
Three things every woman needs to hear:
Say these exact words to your doctor: "I am concerned this could be my heart." That sentence changes everything. Don't soften it.
If tests are "normal" but symptoms persist — demand CT angiography or cardiac MRI.
If you had preeclampsia — your cardiac surveillance starts now. Not at 65.
Your heart can break from grief, from stress, from a system that wasn't built to see you.
It can also heal. If someone finally looks.
Share this with every woman you love.
I am really, really angry at the lies being spread by the usual cadre of woke, retired generals and admirals in the last couple of days.
Pete Hegseth is not politicizing our nation's military, he is DEPOLITICIZING it.
And the Marxists HATE it, because a politicized military is essential to their society-destroying agenda.
My 1,000 word article below explains. Please read, I think it's really important.
The Republican establishment has grown so fucking arrogant they no longer even pretend to hide their contempt for the people who elected them.
They smile for the cameras, take the votes, cash the checks, and then turn around and treat the base like peasants at the gate…unwelcome, inconvenient, and easily dismissed by whatever minor functionary they’ve empowered to do their dirty work.
Scott Presler just caught it on video.
A Thune crony…or at least a creature of that entire insulated ecosystem…looked one of this movement’s most relentless, effective organizers in the eye and snarled the quiet part out loud for the world to hear:
“Get the hell outta here.” “I’m the asshole saying you can’t come in.”
Let that land.
Let it burn straight through whatever polite fiction you were still clinging to.
This is not a staffer having a bad day.
This is not an isolated lapse in “optics.”
This is the unfiltered id of a political class that has spent years insulating itself from the very voters who dragged it out of irrelevance and handed it power.
The same class that turns the Senate into a procedural graveyard for anything the base actually demands.
The same class that lets consultants and lobbyists and lifetime functionaries treat the people who win their elections like problems to be managed rather than partners to be respected.
The contempt is not accidental.
It is structural.
It is the psychological defense mechanism of elites who sense…correctly…that the base is no longer content to be placated with rhetoric while the actual agenda of sovereignty, borders, and accountability dies in committee.
What you are about to read is not another polite autopsy of RINO behavior.
It is a forensic examination of that contempt in its natural habitat…its origins in elite capture, its transmission downward through staff and donors and event gatekeepers, its inevitable collision with a base that has finally stopped asking permission to be angry.
It names the pathology without euphemism. It traces the fracture in the social contract between Republican officeholders and the people who actually deliver their victories.
And it leaves the reader with the only question that still matters: when the door is slammed in your face by the very people you put in power, what the fuck are you prepared to do about it?
If you are still telling yourself that “our guys” are different, that the Senate is a fortress for the base rather than against it, that basic respect is too much to expect from the machine you keep feeding with your labor and your loyalty…this piece will finish the job of disabusing you.
If you already feel the rage in your bones, it will give you the precise language to weaponize it.
The mask is off.
The contempt is on record.
The only remaining variable is whether we keep accepting the role of peasants at the gate…or whether we burn the fucking gate down.
