This January we are exploring our vision and mission at Awaken - letting go of what keeps us stuck and welcoming the leadership of the Spirit who calls from beyond our line of sight. We are a beautiful church and God is with us. 4pm on Sundays in Bowness and online.

We are hosting a longest night service on Winter Solstice (Thursday, Dec 21).
All are welcome - it'll be a dark and reflective taize style gathering. If you need a quiet space to breathe in the midst of it all - we got you.

At Awaken, we are going to spend the next 8 weeks as a community making space for that small part of us that's longing for hope and joy. We won't deny or ignore the fear but we can plant seeds of joy through our tears and cultivate the good life together. I'm excited.

We took down each prayer tie as a community last night.....there were hundreds. We sang songs and said prayers and it was lovely. Today, some of us women shave spent 6 hours tenderly ironing each one and preparing a Resurrection Sunday display. #awakenweepingtree
