Sir, I’ve reached out to you more than once over the years, and this is the first time you’ve found the time to respond. Fascinating how accessibility improves when it’s convenient. When this state was in desperate need of leadership, particularly from someone in the position you held, my concerns apparently didn’t rise to a level worthy of your attention. I suppose I was too “minor” to merit engagement.

Of course, one can learn a great deal about a man by the company he keeps. You do surround yourself with a rather predictable ecosystem, and it’s not exactly known for ideological backbone. While I may not reside in your area, your reputation seems to travel quite efficiently on its own. Remarkable how that works.
