Yesterday I ragequeued League until I lost every single LP to my name. I hit rock bottom and sat there in the dark feeling completely hollow, convinced this stupid game had genuinely ruined my life my joy and my sanity.
I was so consumed by these bitter defeats that I couldn't even bring myself to celebrate my own birthday. I even skipped posting about it and simply collapsed into bed and slept the day away just to feel nothing. I woke up this morning with that exact same sour feeling in my chest, convinced today was cooked too and that my whimsy was permanently dead…
But that's when I looked at the date and put my pathetic suffering into perspective:
Things could be so much worse.

I could be getting electrocuted on camera to serve as a prop for a millionaire streamer.
