excited to announce my new role as CEO at @ppuffins

i've spent a lot of time around this project, and somewhere along the way i stopped working with puffins and started genuinely loving them

the community, the cult, the vibe, it got me

as a CEO i'll handle everything, growing our community, strengthening the puffins vibe, and pushing these cuties everywhere possible

i stepped into this role because i know i’m ready, and fully driven to go all in and make it happen

i've been putting everything into making these cuties grow, and i'm not stopping now

popularity matters more than almost everything

take the ballon d’or ceremony for example

most of the time attacking players win it

because whenever you check the stats of a match, the first thing you see is the goals and who scored them

that’s what most people care about the most in football, why the team scored, the build up, and everything behind the goal

most people simply don’t care

even when a striker plays badly, if he scores a goal his match rating instantly goes way higher, simply put, they get noticed the most

a defender has to play a perfect 90 minute match just to get noticed,
sometimes a striker only needs one goal

even if you perform worse than your competitor, you can still win just because you’re being heavily pushed and shilled everywhere

the same thing happens with wl hunting in upcoming nft collections

someone can make an absolutely insane piece of art for a project and still not get wl because nobody noticed it

meanwhile someone else can make art that’s two or three times worse, but still win wl simply because they’re more popular and their post got noticed more

people can only appreciate what they actually see
