There is a very specific reason why coaching centers benefit from exam controversies.

Every time a paper leak rumour trends, their YouTube channels gain millions of views. Every time students are mobilised to protest, new admissions follow. The outrage is the marketing. The chaos is the product.

What these institutions cannot survive is a clean, transparent, well-conducted examination. Because the moment students start believing that merit alone can get them through, the coaching mafia's entire value proposition collapses. They are not selling education. They are selling access to a system they themselves have corrupted.

This is why every structural reform in UP's examination process has been met with protests orchestrated by the same people the reforms were designed to dismantle.
