@11975MHz Even if it is a far cry from the super deformed delinquent aesthetic of Kunio-kun, the NES box art of River City Ransom is not without its charm.
Rotten Tomatoes stared as a simple review site offering a honest "at a glance" understanding of a movie so average people could decide if they want to watch it without needing to fully research some popcorn entertainment on Friday night
Once it became clear that the review score selection was being manipulated to exclude bad reviews and warp perceptions of movies they had to introduce the audience score to restore the idea that there was a way to get the authentic reaction of real people
Audience scores started revealing how fake the critic reviews were so then RT had to start manipulating those as well, so now you have the illusion of choice where you are free to select which score will lie to you in an entirely controlled media environment
This post is not about Rotten Tomatoes
@DanielTyrie It's more that the left-wing eschews physical vanity and most people's motivation to work out is to look better.
You see a higher proportion of left-wingers doing Crossfit, rock climbing, weightlifting, etc. Stuff that helps you look good but is not marketed as such.
I miss when horror movies were sleazy exploitation crap a half-step above porn for degenerates to get drunk to and not this weird hug box for fat nerds that they've become.
Unfortunately, a lot of Southern lawmakers got spooked about lost football recruits if they did the right thing.
College football comes first for a lot of these guys
