Balogun's early return from a red card isn't even the first we've seen in THIS World Cup ๐
FIFA suspended the final two games of a three-match suspension for Cristiano Ronaldo after a VAR review saddled him with a red card in Portugal's penultimate qualifying match vs. Republic of Ireland.
Ronaldo would've otherwise had to miss Portugal's first two games of the tournament.
This right here is the perfect example of a man being an incredible father. Kudos to Antonio Freeman, Alex is lucky to have him and the USA is lucky to have them both.
We have AI, humans going to space, etc. but people donโt think that someone can create a chipped soccer ball that can detect when itโs touched. Come on people. GTFO #worldcup
@TrungTPhan Why is this so hard. 3 minutes added for hydration brk. Refs add up time from time wasting, injuries, goal celebrations, etc. to add on the rest. During that injury time, if more of the above occurs, more time is added. Refs are judged on playing as much of the 90 as possible.
@joshhart Itโs a sad state right now. Where did the energy and excitement goโฆ I like Liam but maybe switching coaches all the time is a bad idea, who would have thought. Also, why is there zero creativity going forward right now. Awful offense.
@FPLBrucewayne@nana_wavy2@MxKenzie@CarefreeHarvey@TouchlineX Heโs a loanee. He should be going out and getting minutes to improve his play but Chelsea still have his rights and can bring him back. Dortmund was getting shady trying to sign him permanently. Safer to send him to strasbourg, still great spot to develop.
@MxKenzie@CarefreeHarvey@FPLBrucewayne@nana_wavy2@TouchlineX Players and agents force the hands of clubs all the time to get to where they want. If you donโt think that couldโve happened here youre not really paying attention. Dortmund was trying to be sneaky and Chelsea stopped it for a player they value.
It looks Ludvig ร berg has a new logo on his polo during the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open, but it's only a partial logo.
What company do you think it is?
Alright, I'm going to say this one final time so all of you can move on. TJ Watt did not have 618 pass rush snaps in 2021. Myles Garrett did not have 437 pass rush snaps in 2025. There is some terminology (and intentionally misleading images) that we need to clear up.
Team pass snaps = total # off pass snaps the entire team faced (total pass attempts against + sacks)
Pass rush snaps = total number of times an individual player was a pass rusher
In 2021, the Steelers as a team faced 618 team pass snaps -- 563 attempts and 55 sacks.
In 2021, TJ Watt was a pass rusher on 393 snaps (413 total minus 20 snaps that were negated by penalty). He averaged 17.47 snaps per sack and 1.5 sacks per game played (2nd best all-time behind Reggie White's 1.75 in 1987).
In 2025, the Browns as a team faced 540 team pass snaps -- 487 attempts and 53 sacks. The "437" number floating around was team pass snaps as of December 15th.
In 2025, Myles Garrett was a pass rusher on 479 snaps (507 total minus 28 that were negated by penalty). He averaged 20.83 snaps per sack and 1.35 sacks per game played (8th best all-time).
All of this can be found on https://t.co/3AdZaAvt2k, https://t.co/OUgQbiHFIe and https://t.co/LL9ie6mlDF. There is a small amount of disagreement on pass rush snaps between PFF and NFL Pro, but it negligible.
Now, let's get on with our lives.
