Seward County, led by Austin Downing, advanced to 11–3 heading into Christmas break with a statement team performance, taking down conference power Butler in a 130–110 victory. The Saints placed six players in double figures, highlighted by elite efficiency and balance across the rotation.
6’2 freshman guard Antonio Williams Jr. (@antonioldwjr) led the way with 32 points and 4 assists while shooting 6-for-15 from the field and 19-for-20 from the free throw line.
6’3 sophomore guard Lyna Brooks Jr. followed with 26 points and 5 rebounds, knocking down 5-for-6 from beyond the arc and 9-for-14 overall.
6’0 freshman guard Korbin Dowdell added 20 points on an efficient 6-for-9 shooting night.
6’8 sophomore forward Lucas N’Gombo contributed 16 points and 6 rebounds on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field.
6’2 sophomore guard Awit Mamer posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, adding 3 assists and 3 steals while shooting 4-for-6 from the field.
6’1 freshman guard R.J. McKinnie rounded it out with 11 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting performance.
