I see thy strength and vigor,
All fading in the strife,
And death with cruel rigor,
Bereaving thee of life;
O agony and dying!
O love to sinners free!
Jesus, all grace supplying,
O turn thy face on me.
St Bernard
In any case, I do not need to presume pertinacity or judge regarding heresy in the Novus Ordo "bishops." I only need to see that it lacks the four marks of the Church, as presumably you would agree. It would also be sufficient to know that a manifest heretic appointed them to their offices, one who could not possibly be Pope as the vast majority of theologians teach.
You, on the other hand, are the one who has to insert your individual judgment and make it obligatory on everyone. You recognize that your "material Pope" can appoint true Bishops who would have the full authority of a Bishop *if* they were Catholic according to what Bishop Sanborn said a week ago. So who are you to judge that each of those Bishops is not Catholic? You would have to judge each individual case. Yet, you operate in any diocese, because you make the judgment that they are not true Bishops with jurisdiction. Who are you to judge this? Who gave you authority to judge that the "bishop" in your diocese has no jurisdiction? What right do you have to insist that others follow your judgment? If one of the laity decides not to follow your judgment and believes the "bishop" in your area is not a heretic and has not lost his authority, would you not refuse that man the sacraments? You would. So, you are the one forcing your judgment on everyone. Where did you get the authority to do this?
Imagine my surprise, realising today's Saint Bernard of Clairvaux is the patron of bees, beekeepers, wax melters, wax refiners (that's me!) and candlemakers (me again)....
