@DLocke09 If Durant were ever a Jazz player I would cease to be a Jazz fan. I could never root for him. I’m fully aware of his offensive prowess but I can’t stand anything about him as a person.
The only redeeming part of the @utahjazz rebrand is getting rid of the orange-red-maroon gradient. THE reason Dwayne Wade’s mom didn’t know what the colors were. It will be nice to cheer for a team that isn’t dressed like they’re selling hot dogs at a minor league baseball game.
Forgive the red lines but @utahjazz colors were fine. Problem is the nba’s insistence on throwbacks/city unis that use old colors & colors that ARE NOT team colors (gradient jerseys last 4 yrs). That is what messed up the team’s identity. Navy/green/yellow were NOT the problem.
@chandlerlaing@RyanQualtrics@DwyaneWade Seems like “purple is back” was thrown in late in the game because of how poorly received the leaked colors were. Mix the purple in with the black and yellow in future seasons and on uniform tweaks and it will look much better (and smaller font on the jerseys…)
@RyanQualtrics I have been devastated for the last 8 months that our best colors were being tossed aside and today just re-devastated me. Over 30 years of being a Jazz fan and I have never felt less connected to the organization and its “brand”.
@emceebiscuit@JazzUniTracker At least keeping green with the new purple and yellow would have stuck with original Jazz colors and differentiated the colors more from the Lakers. Too bad fans of 30+ years don’t know anything though. 🤷🏼♂️
@JazzUniTracker Been saying all season that the Jazz are just going to look like the pastel Easter egg Lakers, and joining about 15 other teams who wear a black jersey. Some “identity”, some “brand”. I guess being described with fire emojis is more important than anything.
@BlackYellow How about any player who wants to play for Dortmund as a career rather than intending it as a stopping point on their way to a “bigger”, aka more spendy, club?
