@Greatness_Fx I'm a Pastor. I agree. I v engaged some members before on their SM activities. But I'll not use the word order. That may be overstepping my authority. If I have to order, then the matter is of the nature of church discipline that should be handled as such.
Can a believer be cursed? For many African believers, the answer may be yes because of the erroneous belief in generational and ancestral curses.

@ZacharyGarris@TimLeach036 The old "unqualified" widow without family should fall into the category of truly widow (v.3) because she has no family and thus should qualify (v.4).

Eternal life is a gift from God: a gift we don’t deserve. A gift given to sinners to ransom them from sin. A gift greater than any human gift: "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish" (John 10:27)

If we have seen others do things that we never did;and if they have done worse than we, this is owing to restraining grace....if we have not gone the length in sinning, that the most wicked...have gone, this is owing to restraining grace

The cross reminds us of the death and suffering of Christ. The cross is the gospel. It is the good news that Christ gave himself for our sins to deliver us from evil (Galatian 1:4). Christ died in the place of the sinner (2 Cor 5: 21). https://t.co/S9UnCPRDen
God asked Job a question to put him in his place. Have you commanded the morning since your days began(Job38: 12). The question is plucked out of context and a theology of positive confessions established. Is that what the text teaches? https://t.co/TUYb2clTlp via @AwukuAnti
"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought , but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words”. (Romans 8:26)

Many confuse seeking what God can give, with seeking God; they mistake the pursuit of the rewards of righteousness with the pursuit of righteousness.
The danger inherent in this is that when the gifts don't come, when the rewards fail to materialize, these people quit them, and assume that by quitting, they have quit God.
