@Klutinoty1@MahikRani50377 It's called the "order of operations." Also known as "PEMDAS" or "BODMAS." Multiplication happens before addition. As such, you multiply 13 by 0 before you add anything to 31. As such, 13 × 0 = 0. From there, you add 0 to 31. 31 + 0 = 31. So, the answer is 31. That's math 101.
@Evaa_here11 60 × 80% = 48 (can also multiply 6 by 8)
48 ÷ 40 = 1.2
1.2 × 100 = 120
120% is the answer
This can also be done by:
48 is over 100% of 40. Solve for the extra 8
40 ÷ 8 = 5
100 ÷ 5 = 20
100 + 20 = 120
120%
@Lapinou7677@random_box@_Aria_2210 Wrong. When solving for square roots for actual numbers, you always take the primary root. Which is the positive root. You only use ± when solving for a variable such as x, a, b, etc. As such, the answer is 20 for this equation.
