it's quite a useful tool in guiding rhythm/mapping ideas.
even within mappers themselves, the way they use the editor differs greatly.
e.g. some mappers
1) map all rhythm first, then move objects
2) hitsound 4-8 measures, apply emphasis on hs/feedback
3) map as song plays
etc.
as a style-mimic mapper, it's interesting to see ai generation for particular mappers i find difficult to copy. by no means are they good maps, but there are rhythm choices i wouldn't think to use (1/2)
Mapperatinator V32 is out now. It's up to 36% better than V30, supports all gamemodes and super-timing, has extra customizability, improved placement and sliderart.
This release also includes V32-mini which delivers similar performance at 1/3rd the size.
players (probably 95%+) don't care about map quality (they can't differentiate what mappers call "good" vs "bad"), moreso that there exists a map for a song they are looking for (2/2)
did an aus-usa snack trade w/ @aaDumii. i rate timtams fs.
- shapes = ritz but more dense
- squirms = chewier & thicker sour patch
- fruchocs = any chocolate covered fruit snack
- timtams = more porous thin mints without the mint. bite corners off, use as straw.
