Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline has been damaged by drone attacks. The strait of Hormuz is restricted, Houthi bandits threaten shipping routes into the Red Sea. Another oil shock is coming.
Yet our Prime Minister and his Cabinet are behaving like a flock of ostriches, heads buried so deep in the sand they could strike oil themselves.
The answer is simple: DRILL OUR OWN OIL AND GAS IN THE NORTH SEA.
If you claim to support human rights yet can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a damn about people being oppressed and brutalised so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.
At PMQs I asked the PM to guarantee no British sovereign powers, especially over our fishing waters, will be handed to Brussels. He refused to give a clear answer.
No guarantee. No reassurance.

All I’m thinking as I watch this, is that I’d love to see @elonmusk unleashed on the NHS in the UK… he’d save billions and make it work properly again. Government needs big brain wrecking balls to fix stuff that’s broken - not meek mediocre minnows.
Forget going to university for gender studies or whatever other nonsense is on offer. Diving into huge debt, for what? Spend a few years dossing about? Not worth it.
The solution? Apprenticeships. I love them. Get on the tools, learn a trade, develop an actual career.
We have got a painful skills shortage in the UK, and it is getting A LOT worse.
Government needs to be doing FAR more to encourage young boys and girls into the trades. That means apprenticeships - I'd like to see practical learning offered even earlier than now.
A lad might not be great at algebra or know much about coastal erosion, but I bet he can mend a sink or install some wiring. Give him the chance to do it!
I've developed hundreds and hundreds of apprentices through my companies, with the help of my teams - this is the way.
Trust me when I say this. If you don't know what to do with your life? DO NOT go to university.
Learn a trade.
AI can't wire a building or install piping.
It's a career for life, and if you work hard - it can often lead to starting your own business.
That's my advice, for what it's worth.
Can anyone genuinely explain the logic behind Keir Starmer’s Chagos surrender that’s costing British taxpayers billions of pounds? To give away OUR land???
🚨 ECONOMIC SUICIDE🚨
Tomorrow…
▪️UK will pay £241.49 per MWh for electricity
▪️Norway, selling us the gas we could drill ourselves, will pay prices as low as £18 per MWh.
We’ve banned our own North Sea gas and committed economic suicide….
To save the planet 🤡
@NJ_Timothy I hope I'm wrong, but I sceptical this large-scale infrastructure will be built in the UK due to:
- High electricity costs
- US has a first-mover advantage, attracting all the talent
- Too much red tape for timely data centre construction
- Goes against their climate ideology
