5M€+ en dépenses FB | 7 ans d'expérience | J'aide les marques eCommerce à passer de 100k€/mois à 200k€/mois avec un scaling rapide Meta ads en 3 étapes
I spent +7 years studying and practicing Facebook Ads so you don’t have to.
Here are 10 ingredients that will turn your ads into money printers:
1. Using the right creative
This can really make or break your campaign, test different first 3s for your video and make it look engaging and authentic.
A great hook showing off the benefit in an impressive way is ideal for maximum ROAS.
2. Campaign Structure
Less is more.
- Cold traffic acquisition
- Retargeting
From there, you expand as you grow the budget.
3. Budget distribution
70% for cold traffic acquisition
20% for retargeting
10% to get high-quality creative done
Think of the budget in terms of what you need to do to be successful; it’s not just a question of ad spend.
Start testing with $25-50 per day, then increase by 50-100% every 2-3 days as long as your results are profitable.
4. Product-market fit
To maximize your success with Facebook ads, you should start when you are in a position where you don't really need it, meaning already doing really well in terms of monthly sales.
Paid ads will help amplify what’s already working; your product/concept has to be validated by the marketplace before launching any ads.
When you make over $25K per month in sales organically, that’s when you should start.
5. Promote your successful product only
You don’t choose what you want to scale on Facebook; the market allows you to scale what they like and want the most.
Take your 3 best sellers over the past 90 days.
6. Product exclusivity
It should be impossible for your client to find the same or a similar product elsewhere; the more exclusive the product is, the higher the performance will be.
This is why non-exclusive product concepts (dropshipping) fail to last more than 1 month. As soon as a new product becomes successful, it’s available everywhere, and the performance of the campaign drops like a stone.
7. High-Quality Landing page
It can X2-X3 your conversion rate and, by definition, help you scale your ads profitably much higher.
Add reviews, explain how the product works, showcase a video of the product being used.
Make sure to remove any questions the customers could have.
8. AOV (Average order value)
The AOV should be within $50-$150.
As you are going to scale, the cost per conversion will increase. It’s important to be able to stay profitable while spending up to $20-25 per sale; otherwise, you will be stuck with a low daily ad spend.
If your product price is low, sell bundles instead of single units, create special packages, and remove low-priced items while giving more value to your client.
9. Competitive Prices
In direct relation to the AOV, the price should ideally be within $50-$150.
- Lower price will make it harder to scale.
- Higher price will make it harder to convert with a profitable cost per conversion.
Only if the branding is really big (Louis Vuitton, Nike, etc.) can these two rules be overlooked.
10. Consistent Testing
Always be testing new angles in the creative, ad copy, landing page, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes that can sometimes bring unexpected results.
Here they are again:
1. Using the right creative
2. Campaign Structure
3. Budget distribution
4. Product-market fit
5. Promote your successful product only
6. Product exclusivity
7. High-Quality Landing page
8. AOV
9. Competitive Prices
10. Consistent Testing
As you can see, the ads are the tip of the iceberg, and to maximize your performance, you need to have a whole process. This is the way I approach each case to achieve above-average results.
Thanks for reading, hope it helps with your Facebook ads
If so, you can help more people see it:
