@daylightsashley I've had this in my drafts for literal months (long before them having a fight because Buck got them lost became canon). And yes, Eddie is absolutely flirting when he calls him "Buckley", especially when they're fighting. He loves being ragebaited
@na_golo @AlPalz81 @doomofvalyriia Rhys, yes. Two Matthews in the main cast of this one, both of them fantastic. Matthew Goode is my favourite version of Wickham. My favourite Darcy changes with every rewatch
@shepuchibhaji A lot of my favourite tearjerkers have already been mentioned, so I'm going to add 'A Silent Voice'.
It's the first anime film I ever watched and it emotionally wrecked me. Highly recommend
@unexplainables8@shepuchibhaji The Impossible is the only film I've ever finished then immediately restarted. It's also the only disaster movie I've seen that completely earned the big emotional reunion. They so often come across a bit cheesy/sappy, but not in this (don't get me wrong, I love disaster movies)
@LlKECALLSTOLIKE Yes! That whole episode (especially the scene on the beach) I was thinking what great platonic chemistry they had. Kindred spirits finding comfort and support in one another, with zero romantic undertones. It makes sense, what with both being gay & in love with their friend
@kat__writes Yes! And have it start like a regular emergency, following some random as they head into work & we wait for things to go wrong. Lots of clever shots so we don't realise where they are until Buck & Eddie walk past in the background arguing about something stupid. Boom, Zeppo ep
@j3tpackblue I was seeing #/THATGAYFIREFIGHTERSHOW trending basically every time a new episode dropped for years before I started the show. I was also on tumblr. All I knew about 911 was buddie lmao
@buckley_diazz18 I'd literally just started 911/joined 911twt when OS posted this and the mirror selfie and I thought "amazing! He's super active on sm and loves to post thirst traps! This is great!" and I've been living in a drought ever since π
@thenfirecat Helena and Ramon have only seen Buck and Eddie interacting when Eddie's life is falling apart, so having happy, post-firefighter-games-win buddie in their faces? Perfect setup for some pointed, judgy comments for Eddie to get in his head about before the car breaks down
If nothing else, Christopher being kidnapped for all of 5 minutes will at least give Eddie "I lost my son" Diaz some new material to temporarily devastate and confuse strangers with
9x11: Going Once, Going Twice synopsis:
