Less than 48 hours to my Pre-Council exam, and I still donโt know if Iโll be able to sit for it because of my school fees. ๐
Any amount helps. Please donate, repost, or tag anyone who can help.
I just want to sit for this exam and finish what I started. ๐คฒ๐ฝ๐
@Docfrosh All these things you called do not disprove that OSCE is a good clinical exam. Who do you know in your school that failed for either of these? Very rare exceptions. Pressure? Half of OSCE are basically theory questions.

BE PERFECT, JUST AS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT (MATTHEW 5:48) OR NOTโ๏ธ
10 years ago, I was ashamed of my scars. Today, I deliberately show them. Hereโs what changed๐
Exactly 10 years ago, in October 2016, I returned to school after spending several months in hospital following a road traffic accident that left me temporarily unable to speak, bedridden, and with several impaired brain functions. I was only 15, and I decided to repeat a class to give myself enough time to recover. I knew my young brain still had the capacity to recover and reorganise, thanks to neuroplasticity, so I saw it as a second chance. It wasnโt easy but i was determined to try.
But there was a problem. I was ashamed of my imperfections. Damn, I thought I was perfect before, and being imperfect felt like a fault. I had huge scars on my face, head and body. I also have a genetic predisposition to form keloids, so some of the scars became raised and quite noticeable. I tried my best to conceal them. I couldnโt hide the one on my face, but I did everything I could to hide the others. I wore a long-sleeved cardigan almost every day, even in hot weather, even when I was sweating and uncomfortable. But I held on to it. As long as I was in school, that cardigan was on.
Then, one fateful day, I eventually removed the cardigan due to unavoidable circumstances that I honestly canโt remember. That was the beginning of my liberation. I realised that people really didnโt care. Nobody stared at me the way I had thought. Nobody treated me differently and I felt more comfortable. It went from removing the cardigan occasionally to eventually getting rid of it completely. I became happy to show my scars and imperfections because they were proof of what I had been through and, more importantly, proof of what God had brought me through. There was nothing to be ashamed of.
Since then, I have deliberately used every opportunity to show my imperfections. I wear light clothing. I speak whenever I have the opportunity. I tell my story. I have learnt that I donโt have to be perfect. Nobody is. And ironically, that was one of the best moments of my life till date.
But then again, when it comes to eternity, Jesus said, โBe perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfectโ๐ . Perhaps perfection is not the problem, the real question is: What kind of perfection are we pursuing?
Shalom. ๐
