@Kung_Fu_Cthulhu@davesneuralnet@BerrensJoey @forcewave1139 @Zett_Jukassa Well, sure, but she has fuck all to do with most of them...? Leia was her actual master, the last time she met Luke she cracked him over the head and yelled at him. It felt more like a decision made for the audience than one that a person might make. Just so odd.
@Vadbon @ATATChat Oh yes, the only reason why anyone could possibly dislike a female character, good ol sexism. Not bad writing, characterisation, acting, arc, nope, just sexism.
@ShinMarvelous @ATATChat It was fair to assume that he did have training, given his advanced age and unknown origin, whereas Rey did not have training. There's a difference in displaying an ability for the first time and spontaneously performing one to perfection without even knowing about it.
@davesneuralnet@BerrensJoey @forcewave1139 @Kung_Fu_Cthulhu@Zett_Jukassa Oh shit, I actually forgot lol. That's just kinda weird, given that she had a much deeper relationship with Leia, Organa would make more sense. Oh, for sure, but they still wrote it and they stand by it. With a proper road map, it would have been more cohesive.
@davesneuralnet@BerrensJoey @forcewave1139 @Kung_Fu_Cthulhu@Zett_Jukassa It's fine that we disagree, disagreement is how one learns. Not sure what that bit about her last name is though, my comment refers to the general quality of the trilogy. Condensed, I'd call it disjointed, because they don't tell a cohesive story of three movies, like the others.
