Your files and pictures now live on someone else’s computer until they raise the price or “lose” them.

They killed the CD and the DVD and replaced them with streaming.

You don’t own the movie.

You rent the chance to watch it until they yank it for “rights issues.”

Software used to be simple.

You paid once, and it was yours.

Now it’s a monthly shakedown.

Miss a payment and the program you already paid for just… stops working.

They got rich figuring out how to make sure you never actually own a damn thing.

You just keep paying for the privilege of using it.

@BonemanJoe @CynicalPublius Exactly. She tried desperately to get help. It does not excuse what she did but I think she was let down badly by the mental health industry. Multiple meds, changing meds and doses can have horrible effects on someone. Sympathy not excuses.

Anthony Fauci has been a medical administrator for almost all of his career.
Did you know during the covid shutdown, there was an email sent to many US physicians--actual medical doctors dealing directly with patients, that told them their medical licenses would be revoked if they said anything contrary to what Fauci and the CDC had established?
I'm far more interested in hearing what doctors who have real patients have to say about a virus than some office-bound administrator.
That this man refuses to comment on his careless "guidance" after trying to destroy the very doctors we should have been hearing to begin with is indefensible.

In 2020, Mamaw died alone.

She spent nearly a year in a nursing home where her family wasn't allowed to visit, and when the end came, we weren't allowed into the hospital to hold her hand or tell her goodbye.

I'll never stop being angry about that.

Then in 2021, COVID took my Aunt Karen.

Before her funeral, people I loved begged me to get the vaccine. They told me it was the right thing to do. They said it would help protect the elderly in our family.

So I did.

I got so sick I was convinced I was dying.

I developed "COVID arm."

Then came the tachycardia…

I'd dealt with occasional episodes my whole life, but nothing like this.

After the shot, my resting heart rate would sometimes shoot to 190 beats a minute. Other times it'd hover above 120 for hours. I'd wake up from a dead sleep with my heart pounding so hard I thought something was having a heart attack.

More than once, I drove to the emergency room in the middle of the night and sat in the parking lot praying I wouldn't have to walk through those doors.

That went on for years.

I still have flare-ups.

Then in 2022, COVID took my Uncle Bobby.

The COVID era changed North Carolina.

We watched family-owned businesses close their doors for good. Some had been part of their communities for generations. Kids lost years they'll never get back. Churches emptied. Families were kept apart when they needed each other most.

Looking back, the government shoveled us up a bunch of bull hockey and told us to eat it.

The masks.
The six-foot rule.
The prolonged school closures.

And then we learned more about the research that had been funded through National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under Anthony Fauci's leadership, money that went to EcoHealth Alliance, which subcontracted coronavirus research to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

For years, Fauci insisted the research wasn't gain-of-function.

Many scientists, government investigators, and oversight reports have since fiercely disputed those claims.

Now the man who caused so many of us to lose faith in our government is pleading the Fifth.

I keep seeing folks post about Fauci finally paying for his sins, and I just shake my head.

I have zero faith he’ll pay for what he did to America.

To North Carolina.

To my loved ones.

Or to me.

At least not in this life. Hell is hot, y’all.
