5/ Looking Beyond This Offseason

Season 16 is our last competitive season under Sky Mavis.

This offseason brings one final Championship and one final Invitational. After that, Classic is in the hands of the community.

CORC, Axie Governance's new committee, carries it forward once the legal handoff closes.

Congrats to Mitsuya for claiming first place on the Arena Leaderboard.

The Champions Invitational has eight seats. Four go to each season's Top 1 Leaderboard finisher. Four go to each Season Championship winner.

This season's Championship winner claims the eighth seat.

Note: the Classic Champions Invitational runs next Sunday, Sept 27. Details will be shared soon.
