@T0Y0B3N I don’t think he’ll get way too interested in the game cause his chat doesn’t like it, they call it slop or for babies, so maybe he’ll get some ranks and makes some content for it and then he’ll get bored of it
@Tsukento@Dave_Kayac To resume, I still think it isn’t bad as they are doing a public hackathon for young programmers who love Pokemon to compete, but I can see how it could change their perspective for AI
Just to clarify, I’m not an AI bro and I don’t like AI slop in general lol
@Tsukento@Dave_Kayac Keep also in mind that social media also uses Data Centers for their operations.
I think it’ll depend from the output they use them, I don’t think they’ll do more than a “”text based output”” for the instructions of the TCG
@Dave_Kayac@Tsukento Also, the program's output is still to play the TCG, not to generate or plagiarize any media or text, only an excepted play It is weird to me that they want to do an LLM, ChatGPT and Claude are known to be bad at chess Imao
@Dave_Kayac@Tsukento I’ve been reading the rules for the competition and indeed you’re right in that is an LLM, I must say I didn’t expected it to be one lol
Although I still don’t think is a scummy thing since the program doesn’t steal/get any data from other people
@Tsukento ???
I don’t think you understood what I said lol
Think it like how NPCs in Pokemon battle, that’s the kind of AI they are programming (of course 100 times better lol)
