@abhijitsarma Same thing happened with me. I entered the incorrect first name as it got filled by the Auto-Fill feature & the Airlines denied changing the first name & consequently, I had to cancel that ticket. Why they don't allow to correct genuine mistakes is something I don't understand
The government should understand that if the protest has to be ended then the Education Minister will have to resign.Lathi charge, beating students, surrounding the Parliament House, releasing tear gas, this is just oppression.

Puri Howrah shatabdi 12278 is running late by 4 hrs. The passengers from Assam has the connection from Howrah to Guwahati VB sleeper. If the situation remains so, all of us will miss our train from Howrah. This apathy is unbelievable. Do something
@AshwiniVaishnaw@RailMadad
@AshwiniVaishnaw@RailMadad As per the updates, all female passengers have missed the connecting VB from HWH. A few male passenger deboarded at the outer HWH and somehow could catch it albeit dangerously. Accountability? Anyone? What will happen to the elderly lady passengers now?
If footpaths are not spared for pedestrians to walk on, then what are they meant for? Vendors? Roadside food stalls? Parking?
And let me tell you, this is a common sight across Guwahati.
This is not an argument against livelihoods. People have every right to earn. But public infrastructure also has a purpose. When footpaths become vending spaces, pedestrians are pushed onto the roads, compromising their own safety.
Many of these roadside stalls also gradually become the starting point of roadside garbage dumps, creating yet another civic issue for the city.
The responsibility lies on both sides. Authorities must create properly designated vending zones, and public spaces must remain public.
A city cannot function if every footpath is expected to serve every purpose except the one it was built for.

This is more than just a visual. It is the reality of our drains.
The reality behind Guwahati's floods. The reality behind the dying Bharalu. And the consequence of treating public spaces as dumping grounds.
Every piece of garbage thrown carelessly finds its way somewhere. Eventually, it finds its way back to us.

@rishi_baruah This is the story of every area, every road, every bye-lane of #Guwahati
Mainly the tenants living in rented premises, find it easier to dump the garbage bag in such drains rather than throwing it in the Dustbin. They do such activities either at night post 11 PM or early morning
@gharkekalesh Doomed Generation! Cold Blooded! Ungrateful!
I should not say this, but God saved his future husband and his family.
From Men can never be trusted to Women can kill anyone! This should be a topic of research why such young girls are doing such things without any fear!
@RoshanKrRaii Not to be seen as a funny incident, rather it shows the condition of a common man who can't even get an FIR registered against a person in the System. This temple of Justice now seems to be reserved for the rich and top brass. Common man has to wait, suffer and ultimately give up
Hooliganism by Assam BJP youth leader Abhilash Dutta on the streets of Guwahati is condemnable
