It's the weekend before the main annual #changeover for doctors in training. Thinking of all those moving, rearranging, checking commutes, sorting family and loved ones and saying farewells to old teams. Every year you think hmmmmm August, not the best time for this...

Last night, for 12 hours, I was both Psychiatry SHO and General Adult SpR. That's carrying 2 bleeps and a mobile phone. I even had to do a CAMHS assessment. Never again.
Also respect to the SHOs who have to deal with that awful noise that those bleeps make 🙏 and the calls...
