Regrettably tonight's session has been cancelled. The track is currently covered in snow, and the weather forecast for this afternoon indicates that more snow is on the way βοΈβοΈβοΈ

We're going to check with Stadium 2000 as to the condition of the track and will make a decision about tonight's session then.

The track is available for warm-up from 6.15pm in the outside lanes only, with a group warm-up at 6.30pm.
The session will conclude with a cool down and some gentle static stretching. Please remember your Β£2 track fees.
Tonight's Track Session at Stadium 2000 is a combination of 400m, 300m and 200m Reps.
The Main Session will be as follows:
4 x 400m w/200m jog rec.
6 x 300m w/100m jog rec.
8 x 200m w/200m jog rec.
(C Group to only undertake 4 x 300ms and 6 x 200m).
Tonight's session is the Tetley Mile-ish Loops (approximately 1400m). Meeting at the Xcel Centre for a 7pm start (though you'll need to park on Grindon Way).
Options are four loops, three loops or two loops, with a 2:00 recovery between loops.
Each loop should be ran at 10K pace, or a RPE of 8. We'll conclude with a run back to the Xcel Centre and some gentle static stretches. Team AK (@AKellett17 and @AlanKellett) will be leading the session this evening.

Tonight's Track Session is 500m reps, with 100m jog back recoveries. Members can warm up from 6.15pm onwards in the outer lanes of the track. Please do remain respectful of the Junior Section who will still be undertaking their session until 6.30pm.
At 6.30pm we will begin with a warm-up, followed by the Main Session itself. Options will be 10, 8 or 6 x 500m reps, with 100m jog back recoveries. Aiming to run at 5K pace, or a RPE 8/9.
Efforts should be in single file in Lane One, allowing overtaking in Lanes Two and Three.

Tonight's session is the 'Missing Phone Box Loops'. We meet @OakleafSports at 7pm, and we will warm-up with a run to the session start point.
Options tonight are 5, 4 or 3 'loops', which should be undertaken at your 10K effort (not necessarily 10K pace as this is a hilly loop).
Perhaps think of it as RPE (Rate of Perceived Effort) as 8/10. Recovery will be the jog back down Eastfields Road to the start point.
We will conclude with a run back to the Oakleaf Sports Complex to cooldown, followed by some static stretches.
