Told us if we ask & the customer calls in to complain we’ll get fired. 🤷‍♂️ that was in 2015/16 thru today. Now we only ID if you apply for the store credit card or a cell phone w service.

@chuffpdx @hillybillybaker @jeffcosheriffco Most retailers are told not to ID for credit/debit purchases as the chip is supposed to help negate fraud..I don’t believe that at all, but almost 10 years at a big US retailer, I can tell you we are not allowed to check IDs unless signing you up for a credit card/cell phone bill

Currently, New York firefighters and emergency crews are on the scene of a high-rise building in Midtown Manhattan, where a massive amount of water can be seen streaming out of the side. It appears that a high-pressure pipe has burst, although it is not yet clear where the water is originating from. Fire department officials have stated that they are responding to a water leak, with no reported injuries.
