i’ve tasted being the bigger person, and I've tasted matching energy. in the end, i recommend choosing people who never try to pull you out of alignment.
I believe God heals you completely. Spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. I believe God can heal the parts of you that nobody else can see. The hurt. The disappointment. The rejection. The trauma. The things you’ve carried silently for years. God doesn’t just want you to survive what you went through. He wants to restore you. He wants to renew your mind, heal your heart, restore your peace, and make you whole again 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Life humbled me enough to make staying out the way feel like peace. I work, go home, mind my business & appreciate every damn thing I got because I remember when I ain’t have shit. Looking back, God was carrying me through situations I thought would break me. I wanted different, so I started MOVING different. Now I’m just grinding, growing & trusting God with everything that got my name on it. 💯
Authentic people don’t always have a lot of friends. The more genuine you become..the less compatible you may be with people who hide behind costumes. You can be in a room full of people and still feel alone. Fake friendships only last as long as you continue portraying yourself as someone you’re not. Truly authentic people don’t need large friend groups. Once you believe in yourself and know who the fuck you are..you no longer outsource your validation to a crowd.
Yours truly

Nobody prepares you for how much quieter you become in your 30s. You stop needing to be seen, chosen, understood, or validated. You just want to feel rested, regulated, grounded, and at peace.
i’m slowly learning that even if I react, it won't change anything, it won’t make people suddenly love and respect me, it won’t magically change their minds. sometimes it’s better to just let things be
When I finally walk away from somebody I genuinely love, just know that shit took EVERYTHING outta me. 💯 I done overthought it, prayed on it, lost sleep & gave chances I probably shouldn’t have. By the time I leave, I ain’t angry… I’m exhausted. 😮💨 You still alive, I just gotta grieve you like you ain’t part of my life anymore. Family, friends, relationships… anybody can get loved from a distance. 🤌🏾
Biggest lesson I learned this year: stop giving so much of yourself to people who would never do the same for you. I used to think giving more would make people see my worth. But some people will keep taking and still make you feel like you’re not enough. Now I save my energy for the people who meet me halfway. Love, friendship and effort should never feel like something you have to beg for.
I lost respect for a lot of people this year, not because they changed, but because I finally saw them for who they really are. I learned that actions will always speak louder than words. People show up for who they WANT to show up for, and loyalty is something they choose when it benefits them. Some people don’t reveal their true colors until it’s too late. 🤷🏾♀️
Rebranding yourself is so tea. 🫖🎀 a new look, new habits, new connections, && a whole new mindset. Keep evolving you don’t owe anyone the old version of you. 💕🫶🏼✨
I’ve poured so much into friendships, family and every connection I’ve cared about. I’m finally stepping back and letting people show me what I mean to them. I’m prepared to walk away from anything that isn’t mutual. I deserve more, better, and at the bare minimum, effort.
