2. We reported the distinct impact of Ni seed layer on the microstructure and electrochemistry of Ti and Cr adhesion layers in this paper. We showed that Ni promotes carbon segregation in Ti metal layers, whereas it retards similar phenomenon in Cr layers. https://t.co/zW7Z4QI7LA
Updating two of the latest and exciting papers from my PhD research:
1. We found that chronocoulometry (a classical and widely forgotten technique) provides an excellent way to study the specific adsorption in dopamine sensors. https://t.co/uEteWRCOM5
I'm happy to announce the Recent Advances in Computer-aided X-ray Spectroscopy workshop at @AaltoUniversity on 17-20 June, funded by @Psik_Network and @cecamEvents. The application period to participate will be open for a month: https://t.co/yJUhfzspli Please retweet!
Have a look at our recently accepted paper in @PCCP where we discussed in detail the changes in the microstructure of Ti and Cr adhesion metal layers deposited on Si during annealing and their influence on the electrochemistry of carbon nanofibers!

Joined TU Eindhoven's microsystems section for a research visit as a part of my PhD. Excited for the adventures and learning oppertunities this new country and university would be giving me! :)
So, one positive grant application decision and I suddenly started to enjoy grant writing. Not sure how long this enjoyment would last but I feel motivated for now. ๐ค๐

In academia, comparing yourself to others is a recipe for absolute misery.
Sometimes you are ahead, sometimes you are behind. Eventually, you too will get that grant/paper/award.
Focus on your goals, enjoy your work and look at the bigger picture.
See @KatieLevey_'s poster on our just accepted work w/ @ProfJulieVMac and the White lab @UtahChemistry. How to deal with double layers, ohmic drop, and IR compensation (using #Comsol simulations + theory). New findings on a system that I already thought was completely understood!
Have a look at our recent paper published in "analytical chemistry" where we have reported a feasible and robust route to fabricate electrode materials for neurotransmitter detection with excellent sensitivity and selectivity by merely modulating the length of carbon nanofibers.
