In fiction evil is often written to have depth and complexity while good is written to be simple and boring. But in real life evil is boring and predictable while good is complex and unique every single time.
🔒An update on Composer & Packagist supply chain security: what's in place, what ships this week with Composer 2.10 (dependency policies, immutable versions), and what comes next.
If you maintain PHP packages, enable MFA now!

@brendt_gd Documenting PHP is not easy. We enable quite a lot of software paradigms, scattered APIs, hundreds of INI, all sorts of extensions, SAPIs, and and decades of history.
So yes, full time paid doc team/person makes absolute sense.
@BuduMalli@dialoglk@TRCSL TRCSL should outright ban all these "apps". I have never seen anyone subscribing to them intentionally, and I have yet to see any "app" bringing any meaningful value to their users.
They slowly suck people's credits in small amounts so they almost nobody pays attention to them.
@h_liyan I have not seen any Sri Lankan bank promoting QR code payments as a convenient way to pay. The apps are clunky and slow, and the QR code scanner is hidden deep inside.
Plus, there is no easy way to transfer to a regular account (not a merchant), so it's practically useless.
@chathu50@h_liyan No it is absolutely much more complex than QR code payments, which essentially boils down to a fund transfer where both banks and an exchange is involved.
NFC and card payments, on the other hand, require several players and a much more complicated security model.
@yudhanjaya This, 💯.
I get asked often to help them to land an internship, but their knowledge is so weak I the time wasted in training them is not worth because they aren't gonna meaningfully contribute to the company no matter how much resources and opportunities you throw at them.

@CSEBets TEN BILLION turnover! Ignoring crossings (~ 1B in PABC. N), that's still a solid turnover. I didn't trade at all today, but it's good to see an active market.
