Did you know that Jacob was burried in the caves with Leah and not with Rachael?
He chose the quiet wife.
Not the one he cried for.
Not the one he worked fourteen years to win.
Jacobāyes, that Jacobāwas buried beside Leah, not Rachel.
Let that sit.
In Genesis 49:29ā31, as Jacob was nearing death, he gave strict instructions:
Bury me with my fathers⦠in the cave⦠there they buried Abraham and Sarah⦠Isaac and Rebekah⦠and there I buried Leah.
Leah.
Not Rachel.
Rachel was the love story.
Leah was the covenant story.
Rachel had Jacobās passion.
Leah had his promise.
Rachel died on the road (Genesis 35:19).
Leah was laid to rest in the family graveāthe sacred line of promise, the lineage of Godās covenant.
And hereās where it cuts deepā
Leah was the unwanted one.
The overlooked one.
The one Jacob never chose first.
But God did.
From Leah came Judahāand from Judah came Jesus Christ.
Let that shake you.
The woman who was second in a manās eyes became central in Godās plan.
But hereās what we missā¦
We chase being āRachelāādesired, seen, validated.
But heaven often builds legacy through the āLeah seasonsāāthe places of rejection, quiet obedience, and unseen faithfulness.
Jacobās burial wasnāt just about love.
It was about alignment.
At the end of his life, he didnāt choose romanceā
he chose covenant.
And thatās the Gospel whispering through the dust:
God doesnāt build His kingdom on human preference.
He builds it on grace.
Leahās story screams this truthā
You donāt have to be chosen by people to be chosen by God.
And through Jesus, the greater Son of Judah,
the rejected become redeemed,
the unseen become eternal,
and the unloved become fully known.
If you feel like Leah todayā
forgotten, overlooked, second placeā
hear this:
God sees you.
God uses you.
God writes history through you.

Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you āfeelā inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more.
But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he canāt understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in.
So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise !
ā14Ā But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.ā

What does that even mean?šš
Maturing is realizing when you wake up randomly at 3am or 4am youāre supposed to pray. Over your home, over your children. Then sit and listen to what God tells you to do next
