Most of us tap our cards every day without thinking about what happens after the payment goes through.

That made me curious about how AylaPay approaches it.

While reading the documentation, I came across the AAG Payment Mechanism (APPM), one part of the ecosystem that doesn’t get talked about enough.

The interesting part is that APPM isn’t just about making payments go through. The documentation presents it as a framework designed to connect payment activity with the wider Ayla ecosystem.

It introduces concepts like the 90-day VWAP reference and a Recycling Policy, showing how payment activity is intended to interact with other parts of the ecosystem rather than ending when a transaction is complete.

In my last tweet, many people wanted to know more about the APPM (Asymmetric Payment Price Mechanism) and how it works with $AAG in the @aylaglobal ecosystem.

Here's the simple breakdown:

When a payment is made through AylaPay, the protocol uses its APPM (Asymmetric Payment Price Mechanism) to manage how value flows between users, merchants, and the ecosystem.

Instead of treating every transaction the same, the mechanism is designed to keep payments smooth for users while creating sustainable value within the network.

This is where $AAG comes in.

As payment activity grows, $AAG becomes more important through its utility in governance and the broader ecosystem. More payments mean more ecosystem activity, helping build long term demand around the token rather than relying only on speculation.

In simple terms:

More payments → More ecosystem activity → More utility for $AAG → Stronger AylaPay ecosystem.

That's why $AAG isn't just another governance token, it's designed to grow alongside real payment adoption.

Most "crypto payment" apps don't solve the spending problem, they just hide it better.

@aylaglobal is trying something different: separate the spending from the holding instead of forcing you to choose. You get a Visa card: Standard, Platinum, or Black, for everyday purchases.

The merchant gets paid in fiat, just like any other card transaction. Your actual crypto, the on-chain Exchange AAG token, stays untouched on the blockchain side.

Every purchase earns you 2.2% cashback in Credit AAG, plus a tier-based bonus of 4–8%. Higher tiers also unlock staking APRs up to 12%.

The build is happening in three phases: infrastructure and smart contracts first, then card rollout and staking, then lending and global expansion. Right now, it's phase one, the foundation.

Because if users begin paying with crypto anywhere Visa is accepted while the token continues to capture value from ecosystem activity, that's a much stronger adoption story than another token with no real-world utility.
