The crippled academic readiness to COVID-19 testing:
It is quite sad that as the whole world turn to Laboratory scientists to help in the testing of COVID-19, over 70% of the BMLSc graduates are not academically prepared to handle such diagnosis.

“This is a moment where I struggle!
There must be a bigger purpose!
But I can't see it!
I'm heartbroken to hear about the passing of Diogo and his brother André.
Diogo was a not only a fantastic player, but also a great friend, a loving and caring husband and father!
We will miss you so much!
All my prayers, thoughts and power to Rute, the kids, the family, the friends and everyone who loved them!
Rest in peace - Love”.
@theoriaku So it’s the predisposition of the immune system to overreact to heat-induced triggers, not a “self vs non-self” recognition issue. It’s closer to a hypersensitivity to a normal bodily function rather than an autoimmune response.
Weird medical fact: You can be allergic to your own sweat. It’s called cholinergic urticaria—and it causes itchy hives when your body heats up from exercise, stress, or even spicy food. Your body turning against itself… literally.

@theoriaku the immune system doesn’t mistake sweat as foreign. Instead, a rise in body temperature like from exercise or stress triggers mast cells to release histamine. That’s what causes the itchy hives. Your body just overreacts to heat.
