💔💔This is not just a lie; it is a malicious, disrespectful fabrication designed to farm engagements at the expense of our grief. As a serving soldier who has stood over the graves of brave comrades both those who made the ultimate sacrifice on the frontline and those we lost to illness in the barracks this hit piece is an insult to everything we stand for.
Let’s correct this misinformation directly with the rigid, institutional facts of how the Nigerian Army honors its d£@d:
♦️THE REGIMENTED REALITY: The Nigerian Army has a strict, uncompromising protocol for the burial of its personnel. When a soldier d!£s, whether in active combat or due to natural causes, the military handles the administrative and burial arrangements through established official channels.
♦️FULLY FUNDED BURIALS: The family is never billed, extorted, or asked to pay a single kobo, let alone ₦2 million, to move a body. The Army takes full responsibility for the transportation, standard military casket, and ceremonial honors.
♦️THE CHOICE OF RESTING PLACE: By standard military tradition, personnel are buried with full military honors in official military cemeteries (either at the frontline command or the designated brigade headquarters/barracks). If a family insists on taking the body back to their ancestral village against standard regimented practice, the evacuation follow-up is coordinated through official welfare officers, not via random cash demands as this lady alleged.
♦️IMMEDIATE WELFARE SUPPORT: The Army doesn't just abandon families; the institution provides immediate burial support allowances, coordinates the processing of insurance (Group Life Assurance), and ensures next-of-kin benefits are processed.
To the civilian clout-chasers amplifying this n0ns£ns£, we bleed for this country while you sit behind screens inventing horror stories. If you want to critique the system, do it with facts. But do not use the sacred memory of our fallen brothers to orchestrate a cheap, emotional scam.
If this truly happened, name the unit. Name the officer who made the demand. Report to the Military Police or the Defence Headquarters. The Army has zero tolerance for extortion, and any officer caught demanding money from a bereaved family will be court‑martialled.
But spreading a vague, unsubstantiated story on social media does not help your brother’s memory. It helps those who want to tear down the institution your brother served.
TO THE PUBLIC:
Do not let your emotions be weaponised. The Nigerian Army is not perfect. But demanding ₦2 million to release a fallen soldier’s body is not Army policy. It is not even plausible. It's a lie from the pit of hell which is unachievable. Instead, Ask for evidence. Ask for names. Ask for units.
WE HONOR OUR OWN.
WE BURY OUR OWN.
WE SUPPORT OUR OWN.

On Monday the 8th of june 2026, i was on @tudobams twitter space.
I promise to post receipt/evidence of scamming and high level corruption in the NDC @NigeriaNDCHQ
Below is a receipt of 20,000,000 million naira that was scammed from the hand of a senatorial aspirant of the NDC, and a petition to that effect already sent to the EFCC @officialEFCC
THE STORY
After purchasing his 3 million naira expression of interest form to contest for a senatorial slot in the NDC, he was invited to Abuja for screening.
On reaching Abuja, they gave him a form to sign that he will abide to whatever the screening committee does, and will not sue the NDC to court. He was surprised, but he went ahead and signed. He felt they were going to screen him based on his profession, political exposure, grassroot structure, past records, qualifications obtained, etc.
But to his wildest imagination, they started asking about his bank statements, the number of houses and properties he owns, cars and investments, about his financial capacity, etc.
They told him that he has to show capacity if he really wants to be a senator.
They wrote down an FCMB account details for him, and asked him to pay the sum of 20,000,000 million naira into it. He paid the money, and the NDC shut their doors at him till date.
He is now asking the party to refund him back his 20,000,000 million naira, and has filed a petition against them at the EFCC.
Nigerians, this happened to thousands of aspirants nationwide. But because many are still expecting the outcome of their primaries on Monday the 15th of June 2026, coupled with the fact that they singed a no lawsuit agreement, they are just handicapped.
I have other receipts and documents, but i will wait for the NDC to deny this first.
After purchasing expression of interest form of 3 million naira, what is this unknown 10, and 20 million naira meant for?
Who collected that money, and whose pocket is that money going to?
If not for scamming, why will the NDC ask aspirants to sign undertaking of no lawsuit?

Farmers in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State are returning to their farmlands for the 2026 wet season after years of insecurity, bandit attacks, cattle rustling, and abductions forced many communities to abandon farming activities.
The farmers say improved security and community-driven peace initiatives have restored hope and allowed many residents to resume cultivation for the first time in five to ten years.
Peter Obi has never shown original, authentic thinking. He is a copy-and-paste politician. That explains why he has nothing to showcase as Anambra governor for eight years. Willie Obiano, his successor, said Obi failed spectacularly in providing security in the state. In contrast with Governor Tinubu in Lagos, Tinubu left LAWMA, LASTMA, LAMATA, RRS, a rail and road masterplan, which is still being executed to this day. Nigeria deserves a leader who can see beyond the ken of the ordinary people, a leader who is a proven deep thinker and doer. Peter Obi is no match for President Bola Tinubu. They are not on the same level.
FEDERAL MINISTRY OF WORKS
PRESS RELEASE
UMAHI ISSUES STRONG WARNING TO NON-PERFORMING CONTRACTORS, SAYS TINUBU MUST NOT BE BLAMED FOR PROJECT DELAYS
The Honourable Minister of Works, Sen. Engr. David Umahi, CON, FNSE, FNATE, has issued a strong warning to contractors handling Federal Government road projects, urging them to fulfil their contractual obligations and eliminate the factors that give rise to unwarranted criticism of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Speaking during an extensive inspection tour of ongoing road and bridge projects in Kogi and Edo States, the Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of work on some sections of the Abuja-Lokoja Dual Carriageway and the Dualisation of Obajana Junction -Benin Road. He disclosed that, due to funding constraints, the scope of one of the Sections of the Abuja-Lokoja road had to be reduced from 49.28 kilometres to 28 kilometres to concentrate available resources on the most critical portions.
"I am very sad with what I saw on the ground. What was reported to us is not reflected in the actual work being done," the Minister observed.
Engr. Umahi reiterated the Ministry's directive that no section of the Federal highway should remain closed for more than 14 days during construction. He subsequently issued an ultimatum to the affected contractor to complete the required section within the stipulated period or risk termination of the contract.
The Minister, however, commended Messrs JRB Construction Company for the quality and pace of work on its project, describing the company as a model of professionalism and commitment. According to him, "If everybody does his job accordingly, there will be no reason to shift the blame to Mr. President."
He also issued a 72-hour ultimatum to GELD Construction Company, handling one of the sections, to effectively utilise funds already released to demonstrate visible progress on the project.
According to the Minister, a substantial percentage of Nigeria's Federal road network had deteriorated before the advent of the present administration, stressing that President Tinubu inherited enormous infrastructure challenges but has continued to make significant strides to restore and modernise the nation's road sector.
He further directed the Federal Controllers of Works (FCW), Engineers’ Representatives (E.R.), and project supervisors to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and enforce greater accountability, insisting that all procurement processes and expenditures must be properly justified.
As part of the inspection tour, the Minister visited the reconstruction of the existing pavement and completion of the additional carriageway on Section III of the Abuja–Lokoja Dual Carriageway, including works being executed by Trucrete Solutions Limited on the Koton Karfe–Abuja alignment.
He also inspected two critical bridge projects along the same corridor, as well as the ongoing dualisation of the Lokoja–Benin Road. The projects inspected include Section I, Obajana Junction–Okene, and Section II covering the Okene–Auchi corridor across Kogi and Edo States.
The Minister further assessed progress on the flyover and interchange components of the project being executed by CCG Contractors, with the flyovers at approximately 80 percent completion and the interchange at about 30 percent.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, Senator Allwell Heacho Onyesoh, commended Engr. Umahi for his visionary leadership and firm commitment to ensuring value for public funds. He noted that political office holders can no longer continue to bear responsibility for the poor performance of contractors, stressing that Nigerians expect tangible results and timely project delivery.
Peter Obi is a religious bigot who used religion to campaign and divide Nigerians in the last election. He referred to the 2023 election as a religious war in a phone conversation with Bishop Oyedepo. Obi is a fraud personified. Theo & Brain should come & defend their new Oga.
@TheGridPost Same Joy Ogaji that claimed no one had signed and yet almost all the discos have signed? Now the lie is no one has received a single dime. Fake news never helps anyone!!!
The process is transparent and accountable.
FYI 👇
Peter Obi is reportedly filing a defamation lawsuit of N5 billion against Kenneth Okonkwo; Really? But he can't take the same action against People's Gazette who he claims reported a doctored audio.
Mind you the reports from People's Gazette is more damag'ng to his reputation.
Can't be serious.
HE WHO CANNOT INFLUENCE THE POLITICAL CLASS CANNOT RULE A NATION.
They don’t hate him; they simply don’t consider him competent enough to lead them. Those in politics know each leader’s record, influence, and achievements.
To them, Peter Obi’s record in Anambra and his limited influence within the political establishment don’t match the “saviour” image his supporters project. In a field filled with leaders they believe have stronger track records, they simply don’t rate him as highly.
Leadership at the national level requires more than popularity; it requires the political capital to build alliances, negotiate, and get legislation passed. Governance is largely politics, and many in the political class see Obi as lacking the influence and political skill needed to navigate that reality.
