Trading is a game of probabilities, not certainties. You won't win every time, and you don't need to.
What matters is that you manage your losses, maximize your winners, and stay emotionally balanced through it all.
A good trade is more than just an entry:
โซ๏ธOverall chart context
โซ๏ธTrade management plan
โซ๏ธWell-protected stop loss
โซ๏ธReasonable target
โซ๏ธConsistent position size
โซ๏ธGood exit plan
โซ๏ธSolid Reward:Risk Ratio
There is no job security & regular paycheck.
No one tells you what to do to get promoted.
You have to take 100% responsibility for everything that happens.
There is no one else to blame.
Even if you do your best work, you can (and will) still lose trades.
The sooner you stop looking for the perfect trading system, the sooner you can become profitable.
The sooner you can accept a lower winrate, the sooner you can become profitable.
Expectation management is the key.
6 tips to improve ur expectations:
- Avoid daily/weekly profit targets
- Don't expect to buy a Ferrari any time soon
- Use process goals
Focus on the quality of ur trading
- Be more selective, don't overtrade
- Don't brag about ur results
Success isn't reserved for "special" people, we are all unique and have the potential to achieve anything we desire.
You have to match the desire with the work rate necessary to attain your goal.
Consistent hard work every single day will get you there.
How to reduce the fear in your trading:
>Backtest to improve pattern recognition

>Have a clear trading plan with rules
>Use smaller position size
The 3 levels of patience:
- Waiting for a trade > Don't act on FOMO Patience while in a trade > Don't close too early
Patience when growing your account > Don't push your risk management
