Today I signed a new agreement with Supervisor-General Abdullah al Rabeeah on 🇸🇦’s contribution of $2 million for our response in #Gaza to treat severe malnourished children, and pregnant and breastfeeding women. This is not just another funding agreement, this is lifesaving line for children fighting to survive.

Concluded a productive meeting with H.E. Mr. Alexandre Zouev, Acting Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism @UN_OCT.
We discussed ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation in preventing and countering terrorism, enhancing capacity-building initiatives, and advancing the implementation of relevant UN mandates. I reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for UNOCT’s important work and our shared commitment to a coordinated and comprehensive approach to addressing the evolving threat of terrorism.

تُقدّر المملكة العربية السعودية عالياً تجاوب فخامة رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بمنح المفاوضات فرصةً إضافية للتوصل إلى اتفاق يؤدي لإنهاء الحرب واستعادة أمن وحرية الملاحة في مضيق (هرمز) كما كان عليه الوضع قبل 28 فبراير ٢٠٢٦م، ومعالجة جميع قضايا الخلاف بما يخدم أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.

كما تُقدّر المملكة عالياً جهود الوساطة المستمرة لباكستان في هذا الشأن، وتتطلع المملكة إلى أن تغتنم إيران الفرصة لتجنب التداعيات الخطيرة للتصعيد، وتتجاوب عاجلاً مع الجهود المبذولة للتقدّم في المفاوضات وصولاً إلى اتفاق شامل يحقق سلاما مستداما في المنطقة والعالم.
