Nigerians in the UK are the loudest set of people in the diaspora
I asked my uncle for £100 some weeks ago because I needed money urgently.
This man sent £10, naturally I was irritated
and kept wondering how someone living abroad couldn’t spare £100. he started explaining how expensive life is in the UK and how everything is going up.
Now , in the family group chat he’s asking me why he’s not been seeing my WhatsApp stories anymore. Meanwhile I blocked him cause I honestly believe he has the money.
It’s not exclusive to Olamide, men are naturally grateful species.
That Acrimony movie is a perfect reference for how grateful a man would be to a woman that showed him love and respect when he had nothing
Hardly would you build with and support a man at his lowest and get left behind when he finally makes it.
When you see a man switch up on his woman when he makes it, he must have endured some great level of disrespect or disloyalty when he was still struggling
Nothing brings more joy to a man that giving the whole world to the woman that supported his dream
It’s mostly the mother that fill that role in a young man’s life and that’s why you see “I bought my mum a house” content almost everyday in the internet.
I wrote an IELTS Task essay in my notes and then asked ChatGPT to write one without showing it mine so I could compare. The structure, examples, and ideas were exactly the same as what I had written but with better vocabulary.
I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but how is this possible?
This isn't right.
If you earn 3m, 800k is deducted as tax free and the remaining 2.3m is taxed at 15%
If you earn 10m, the first 800k is tax free, next 3m is taxed at 15% and remaining 6.2m is taxed at 18%.
Same applies for other income brackets.
This is how Nigerians will understand the new tax law in a simple way:
1.Anyone who earns less than ₦800,000 per year will not pay tax.
2.Anyone who earns ₦800,000 to ₦3,000,000 will pay tax at 15%.
•15% of ₦2,000,000 = ₦300,000
•15% of ₦3,000,000 = ₦450,000
3.Anyone who earns ₦3,000,000 to ₦12,000,000 will pay tax at 18%.
•18% of ₦5,000,000 = ₦900,000
•18% of ₦10,000,000 = ₦1,800,000
4.Anyone who earns ₦12,000,000 to ₦25,000,000 will pay tax at 21%.
•21% of ₦20,000,000 = ₦4,200,000
•21% of ₦25,000,000 = ₦5,250,000
5.Anyone who earns ₦25,000,000 to ₦50,000,000 will pay tax at 23%.
•23% of ₦30,000,000 = ₦6,900,000
•23% of ₦50,000,000 = ₦11,500,000
6.Anyone who earns ₦50,000,000 and above will pay tax at 25%.
