Hello Friends,
What happens when grassroots voices lead the conversation on human trafficking?
From 16th–20th November 2026, @AzadiCommunity , in collaboration with Global Learning Community (GLC) and @praxis_india , will host the 1st Africa Regional Anti-Trafficking Conference
Hello friends,
Yesterday , @AzadiCommunity joined women, girls, families and allies in demanding an end to femicide and the growing crisis of missing children.
Our message is clear: Women, girls and children deserve to live safely, freely, and with dignity.
We are tired of
losing our sisters, daughters, friends, and loved ones. We call on the Government of Kenya to recognize femicide and missing children as a national crisis and take urgent action to strengthen protection, accountability, and justice.
Human rights are for everyone, everywhere.
No one should be treated unfairly because of who they are or whom they love.
June’s #PrideMonth is an opportunity to stand up for the equal rights & fair treatment of LGBTIQ+ people everywhere.

Today, we joined our sisters to sit on the streets of Nairobi carrying names.
Not statistics, or headlines.
Names.
We mourned, screamed. And remembered.
Because being a woman in Kenya should not feel like surviving every day.
#EndFemicideKE#ZamaraVoices
We are marching because women are being killed. We are marching because children are disappearing. We are marching because silence protects perpetrators.
Justice. Accountability. Action. Now.
#EndFemicideKE#MyDearBody#JusticeForMissingChildren
OUR 10 DEMANDS:
1. Declare femicide and GBV a national crisis.
2. Implement the GBV Taskforce recommendations.
3. Act on missing and murdered women and children cases.
4. Ensure accountability and swift investigations.
5. Fund survivor-centered support systems.
6. Strengthen prevention and protection mechanisms.
7. End institutional silence and negligence.
8. Improve transparency on femicide cases.
9. Invest in protection for women and girls.
10. Build a Kenya where women and children can exist safely and freely.
Stop killing women!!

Hello Friends,
We are tired of mourning women. We are tired of lighting candles. We are tired of saying “another woman has been killed.” #TUMECHOKA!
Today, girls & young women from @azadicommunity stand in solidarity with women and girls across the country in calling out the
investments in prevention and safety for women and girls.
Children, girls and women deserve a country that protects them, values their lives and upholds their dignity.
Hello Friends,
Last weekend, @azadicommunity together with our NIA partners hosted Child Participation Sessions on the Draft Policy on the Elimination of Child Labour, creating a safe and engaging space for children to understand, discuss and contribute to policies that

This was more than a consultation, it was a reminder that children are not just beneficiaries of policy but active
Hello Friends,
Recently under the NIA (#NotInvisibleAnymore) Project by @Freedom_Fund, we held a beautiful and energising session focused on wellness and confidence building for adolescents.
From sharing their voices boldly during public speaking sessions to finding joy and
release through yoga and zumba, the girls showed up with so much courage, creativity and openness. The space became a reminder that when young girls are nurtured, listened to and equipped with skills, they step into their power more confidently.
At @azadicommunity, we continue
