@DerrickEvans4WV First comments on the matter I agree with.
Trump administration needs to not be blaming anyone other than Spirit.
A bailout would be acceptable if there was a bridge to the other side, but that didn’t really exist similar to auto bailouts. This would have been good $ after bad
@AnnCoulter Ann, you don’t know what you are talking about. This failed culture needed to be swept away. The smart money knew to stay away, because this was a money pit, that is quicker repaired being absorbed plane by plane or route by route into other airlines. The reputation damage was toxic
@GuntherEagleman Customer satisfaction, Spirit 9 points below their peers like Allegiant, Breeze and so on. And totally ignore the massive $$ jet fuel increase from the Iran conflict. But we are supposed to blame Biden/Warren for stuff on Trump’s watch?Letting Spirit fail, fine, blaming others BS
@EricLDaugh Shut this guy up. Classic Trump, still blaming Biden/Warren.
Mr. Never-would-have-happened, had it happen under him and is still shifting blame. Spirit was a horrendous airline, with bad culture at the top. Trump’s conflict sparking jet fuel prices didn’t help either.
Buh bye
@AnnCoulter United needs to go hard after the vacated routes by Spirit. United is so limited because a lack of sufficient east coast routes, giving American far too much power.
@AnnCoulter Spirit was a shitty airline and you can’t throw good money after bad. It would be a money pit of taxpayer dollars. Let the well run airlines integrate spirit’s assets into superior cultures and systems without having a windfall of cash for execs.
@EricLDaugh We didn’t need more consolidation.
4 airlines already have defacto monopolies in their hub cities.
We need a passenger bill of rights, and more competition in major hubs.
@GuntherEagleman Spirit airlines was a horror story that screwed me over personally so many times.
Let the better run airlines buy up the bankrupt assets and run them better.
No need to let the them merge and make a bigger shittier airline and give undeserving execs golden parachutes.
@TaraBull This is a BS bot narrative designed to deflect blame from the Trump admin’s poor economy. Spirit was a horrible airline and had plenty opportunities to fix their airline. Executives made terrible choices. Merging with Jet Blue would have just given execs golden parachutes.
@Izengabe_ This is a BS narrative. Spirit was an abomination of an airline. They should have been shutdown for their horrendous business practices. The execs looted the company and screwed customers for decades. Iran conflict oil prices was the death knell, but this airline sucked!!!
@Arr3ch0 Spirit’s horrible exec. management sealed their fate. Terrible customer service, canceling paid tickets, harassing customers over bags that fit in the bin sizer. Any narrative that blames anyone except Spirit management and executives is just politcal manipulation. They sucked!!
@NashTalksTexas Irresponsible. Mathematically this was a super low probability of success play. 50-50 ball carrier beats his man, and only 1 of 5 blocks failing is enough to bust the play. 50%x20%=10% chance of success.
@Osint613@BillAckman The Iranians hacked the power plant I worked at 10 years ago. They got into all of our network through a weak point on the network printer.
Stole all the IP and drawings. And “potentially” could have taken over the power plant controls. Very dangerous outcome possible.
@krassenstein The fake content on X is just out of control. It’s not satire. It’s just deception and false flags. It’s become too much effort to sort through the garbage to get to good content.
