@JackPosobiec Ever since Disney ended the Expanded Universe in 2014, I have not given their new stuff a shot. I have yet to see a single one of the Disney Star Wars movies or shows.
So I cannot really say I am boycotting it if I would not have seen it anyway...

When I was 19 I was almost put on a jury for a case involving a rape and murder of a child.
Capital punishment was a possible outcome. I remember distinctly the moment I told those lawyers I could absolutely agree to the death penalty if it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime.
I have that same view today.
Yes, the different layers of canon that the old Lucasfilm had where book events that contradicted movie events from the six films were overwritten. Or video game events that contadicted may have happened but not in the way the player played it.
It was a great way to weave together a massive story.
