I was extremely surprised when I found out that it's not a poisonous or toxic fungi! Those red, flamboyant drop-like parts, contain anticoagulant properties (it even looks like coagulated blood!).
The patterns in Nature never ceases to surprise us.

There are some who say that it is edible, and some say that it isn't, although I've read that it's almost impossible to enjoy it due to it's bitter and extremely spicy flavor.
