Flights Are Expensive Everywhere, Even in America That’s Why the President Is Building Coastal Roads and Rail Lines— First Lady, Remi Tinubu
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Nigerians to remain optimistic about the country’s future, highlighting ongoing infrastructure projects being undertaken by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking on the state of the nation and development efforts across the country, the First Lady said Nigeria remains a great nation with enormous potential despite current challenges.
“Nigeria is such a great country, and now you can see airports imagined. So I know you will say, the flights are so expensive, everywhere in the world, even in America, flights are expensive,” she said.
According to her, the administration is investing in alternative transportation infrastructure, including the coastal highway project and rail development, to improve connectivity and support economic growth.
“And that’s what Mr. President is doing, coastal roads, not only coastal roads, even trying to have rail line. And so I know the previous administration started the rail line, and we will continue with the building,” she stated.
Mrs. Tinubu expressed confidence that the country’s ongoing investments would yield positive results and benefit citizens in the near future.
“Nigeria has a huge future ahead of it, and by the grace of God, very soon, we all will be beneficiaries of the success of what Nigeria will become,” she added.
