Tad late, but thank you for over 30,000 subscribers on YouTube!!
(Well, should really be thanking Sea Cat, it's been popping off lately!)

Lots of folks helped with this one, and it's been a very long time coming, so we hope you enjoy! You can read more details in the post description. Note that the movie is included as the two separate sides of the disc independently & not combined. Thanks! https://t.co/HOHgYRqjzp
Included are:
-The film in SD resolution w/discrete 5.1 Dolby Digital from the LD + English 5.1 surround synced as close as possible
- Subs from SOSSubs, revised by our friends at LonelyChaser Fansubs
-Pikachu Summer Vacation special, also SD
-HQ scans of the LD jacket + booklet!
Any international release of the film and future release in Japan, including HD remaster, was sourced from the revised version of the film, so while this cut is only complete in SD, we feel it should be preserved all the same in the best quality possible. So, we've Domesday'd it!
Yes, there are actually 2 versions of the 1st movie! The one most are familiar with is the international/complete version or Kanzenban, which adds further edits/footage & additional CGI that was absent from the original. The original cut was only ever released in Japan on VHS/LD.
New release! For the 1st time, enjoy the original theatrical cut of the first Pokémon movie via a LaserDisc Domesday Capture! The LD was acquired & captured by us in SD, & includes JP & ENG 5.1 surround audio, + full revised subtitles & some bonus goodies! https://t.co/HOHgYRqjzp
Oh I see NOW they're finally hyping up Metal Sonic because they need everyone to think he's tough for that fourth movie and forget what a total jobber he is. This mfer died to a door in CD.
@Gamechamp3k Just checked out said video since I haven't watched ya in a while, and while I do like what I'm hearing so far, you definitely need to keep on going with þe voice training. Cause right now, it kinda gives off þe vibe of a stereotypical nerdy boy voice. So definitely a WIP.
Speaking of which we're very excited that it's teamed up with Toei Animation to screen some of its monumental works entirely on film starting next month. If that's something that interests you, buying tickets/attending the shows will help support them too: https://t.co/XryWC86bdI
As a group, we've donated a couple of films to the NFA, specifically JP pre-war films on nitrate that we don't have the capacity to preserve ourselves. The work that this organization does is absolutely necessary, so please support if you can or even attend some of its screenings
The Japanese government has severely cut the National Film Archive's budget to the point where it's resorted to launching a crowdfunding campaign to help them continue their essential & indispensable work. It's the only organization of its kind in Japan, & really needs our help.
YouTube essayist Bowlmyshoes put together a deep-dive on StephenVlog, covering all 15 years (and beyond)!
It is without a doubt the most comprehensive video of its kind, and well worth your time if you’ve ever watched our stuff.
