🎓 Congratulations to LVJUSD students and the Class of 2026!
Today marks the last day of school, and tomorrow is high school graduation. You made it and there’s a lot to celebrate. But remember: one bad decision can change everything.
Graduation and prom are considered two of the highest-risk nights for underage drinking and impaired driving, according to Safe & Sober Grad Night organizers.
Driving impaired, riding with someone who’s been drinking, or making reckless choices for “just one night” can impact your future, your education, your career and someone else’s life forever.
🚫 If you’re under 21, don’t drink.
🚘 If you’re 21+ and choose to drink, make a plan before the celebration starts.
📱 Use a rideshare, call someone you trust, or designate a sober driver.
👊 Never let a friend drive impaired. Take the keys. Make the call.
Both Livermore and Granada High School will host Safe & Sober Grad Night events following graduation on Friday. These events provide graduates with a safe, sober, and memorable celebration filled with food, music, activities, entertainment, and prizes.
Safe & Sober Grad Night is a nationwide tradition that gives graduates a fun, alcohol and drug-free way to celebrate one of the most important nights of their lives.
Have fun, make memories, and get home safely.
